My husband went to get me a single gluten free meal and when he ordered it the person at the window said “What?” He repeated the order and the woman said “Is this an April Fool’s joke?” and started laughing. My husband then went inside to talk to the manager. She said that they have never heard of such a menu. Don’t trust any food business unless you want to pay the price, physically. Please make sure of the GF preparation areas in any restaurants. It makes a very big difference, especially to sensitive Celiac’s like myself.
Normally most fast food chains are risky but Wendy’s actually offers a few items that are decently safe when in a rush. I always get their chili in a baked potato with sour cream and cheese! As far as I’m aware their chili, baked potatoes, and certain salads are all gluten free but always ask! I’ve never had an issue with my order.

Keep it simple. Burger patty with toppings. Get a mayo packet. Baked potato. You’re good to go

Horrible experience with rude employees. We were told they couldn’t verbally say what could be prepared gluten free or not. They said they could provide an allergen guide but would not answer any questions about how the food was prepared. Example: we asked if the fries were fried in the same fried as the chicken.

I just found out the chilli is gluten and dairy free! So are the salads, as they are made fresh. The general manager was very knowledgeable and helpful here!
