So service always takes a long time here. They also have recently put "GF" on the menu but when my husband asked about one of the appetizers they said it was not possible to make gluten free...so that was misleading. But once the waiter talked to the cook - they were able to make special accommodations for both appetizers and entrees and would even cook in separate oil/pan. My husband enjoyed the chorizo appetizer (minus the bread) and the churrasco entree (extra yuca instead of rice). It's worth eating at if you're in the mood for Cuban but I would also just go to Taste of Cuba down the street which is cheaper, more familiar and in my opinion more tasty.

Went here 3 wewks ago but just getting around to the review. Absolute garbage from the people who work there to the food! I called ahead to see if they could accommodate gluten free and they said yes even after I explained that a fryer can't be shared etc they said "yes, almost anything on the menu we can make. Just come in and we will help you." Well I get there and there's about 3 things I can eat. Also they said they could fry the plantains in a pan but that the kitchen was just too busy to grant a special request! I said that I want the real Cuban experience and I'll need it done especially since it was already offered. A manager came over and tried to talk me out of the food accomodation too. I still insisted and they finally agreed. The food was awful and my 9 other non GF friends agreed! The mojitos were watered down and bitter and no one got a buzz at all. The meats were all dried and probably cooked ahead and left heated. The plantains were flavorless. I thought I would have some wine to soothe the bad experience but they brought REALLY warm sour red wine in tiny Mason jars. OMG one of the worst experiences I've ever had in my life.
