It depends on the staff member you order from. They said they can’t guarantee no cross contamination, and I asked for special care and handling and to rinse everything well, she agreed to put a note. I didn’t feel particularly secure with ordering a meal so I opted for a smoothie with no mac nuts for lower CC risk. I also had the dates removed as they are high fodmap and didn’t want indigestion clouding my gluten detection. I would not return based on the insecure feeling I had there, but I will say I didn’t get sick from my Daily Dose smoothie (dates removed).

Loved this place! Would have eaten here every day if I could have. So delicious! And healthy! Exactly the type of food you need on an island. A number of gluten free bowl options that are full of great ingredients and flavor, makes you feel good about what you're eating. Also, the ulu bread was amazing!!

Vegan restaurant with all sorts of healthy creative dishes. Almost everything (or maybe everything?) is gluten free. My friends and I ordered their "plates" and everyone enjoyed their food. Lots of vegetables and local flavors. We placed our dinner takeout order in the late afternoon - the restaurant closes at 5.

No, no, no. They say they have gluten free items, but were unable/unwilling to do anything to avoid cross contamination. I wasn't asking for a guarantee, just some easy precautions to avoid major issues, When I asked if they could take basic precautions in food prep, like washing hands or using gloves, and possibly wiping down the food prep surface, they basically said they wouldn't do so because they already keep a clean kitchen and cross contamination might happen regardless. Yes, it could happen, but it will be less likely if they did anything to avoid it. It was not a busy time, so they could have accommodated, but they didn't want to and I was essentially told to just not eat there. Very unfriendly. They shouldn't say they have GF if they aren't willing to take basic steps to help those with allergies or Celiac avoid getting sick. Terrible experience.

Omg--knowledgeable staff, vegan tasty food, lots of gluten free, soy free options. First meal out that I've enjoyed this much. Cookies were amazing, and my typically carnivorous husband loved it too.
