Perfect spot to pickup a gf sandwich

Staff where very open about the high levels of cross contamination. Despite gluten free rolls and such, potatoes and breaded foods are fried in the same frier. You can substitute breaded meats in sandwiches for unbreaded, but they might be dunked in the same sauce. The gluten free desert options were great. You will have to have a long conversation with staff to figure out what you can and can’t have for lunch and dinner options as it’s not marked clearly on the menu.

Anania’s is a neighborhood shop that also sells quick breakfasts, lunches. The Congress St. store, maybe a family operation?, seems highly gluten conscious and I appreciate the fact that I live nearby.

I’ve been twice! I love their GF sub rolls. They make your food safely and they have baked goods that are delicious. Another Celiac was there when I picked up and said the pizza is delicious.
Awesome GF sub rolls Whoopie Pies and other baked goods. Highly recommended for a quick bite. Owner has celiac so staff is well trained with food handling.
Ordered two sandwiches, one regular and one gf. Upon opening at home, both were on regular bread. A phone call, maker said, the “order I got was not for gluten free”, and offered to replace if we drove back! We also got potato salad, which presumably was cause of regurgitation 3 hours later. Won’t go back.

GF baked goods and bread for sandwiches!
Not sure what one of the reviews is referencing as I did not find any GF bread here.
