Symptomatic Celiac

Based on the three prior reviews, I was excited to give this restaurant a try after my sons baseball game in Portland not far from here. When we walked in I was excited the restaurant was empty. This usually means safer for risk and cross contact. When we were seated I asked about gluten free, they do NOT have a gluten free menu as referenced in a previous review. He told me he could make most things gluten free, but then I asked about cross contact, cooking separate- he explained they only have 2 pans. So they could try to clean them but they only have the two so he doesn't recommend any of the cooked food if you have celiac and could get sick.... I was nervous then and ordered 10 pieces plain salmon & tuna sushi, no soy sauce.

For non gluten free people, my family ate well! Soup bowls were enormous, rice portions also huge. They all enjoyed it very much. The staff was very kind, but I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to any celiac who wants to eat.

They can make any dish gluten free by substituting the noodles. They also have vegan options that are soy based, not wheat... And are DELICIOUS!
