(Sept/2017)Comfort is an an understatement. 'This place is best described as a 100% Colombian w/ a chipotle like kitchen except this is not cookie cutter franchise it feels like I was transported. A must visit again.....next time I'm in from Philadelphia I'll be back. Thx for the recommendations on most popular dishes and sauces. Had the Mazorca with pork and a great mixture of all their sauces. Updated 9/2019 just in town from Philly and had to stop for some awesome Columbian comfort food and was truly satisfied once again. Had the Mazorca again but this time had it with beef and sautéed veggies. Love the garlic Mayo and creamy cilantro sauces are my favorite. See yah my next trip back!

Went for an early lunch on a Saturday. They didn’t seem ready for customers. Tables were dirty. Fillings were good, but arepas were disappointing. Tough, no flavor. They were much better when they were at the 2nd St Market.

Great food. Only two items contain gluten and they keep them separate and change gloves after handling them. I tried a few items and didn't get sick.

WOW! We found this restaurant through the FMGF App and thought we'd give it a try. We were so pleasantly surprised! Everything we tried was delicious and naturally safe. The only thing in the whole restaurant with gluten is the Tres Leches cake, and that's frozen. Very safe and very good.

The best!!!!! Love the Arepa Choclo, yuca fries, and empanadas (chicken). Their sauces are amazing - rosada and creamy cilantro are my faves. This is the original location and the best, as the newer downtown location unfortunately messes up our orders regularly. But it's 100% gf and totally safe for people with celiac disease. Everyone loves it. It's not fancy at all, and incredibly cheap for tons of food. Yum!

There are three people with celiac disease in my family (myself included). I cannot even begin to describe the relief I felt walking into Arepa's. EVERYTHING is made from scratch and EVERYTHING is gluten free. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. And the food is SUPER affordable with huge portion sizes. We tell everyone we can: go to Arepas! The fried plantains are a fun treat and you absolutely must try the creamy cilantro sauce. The staff is also incredibly knowledgeable about the food so if you have other food allergies, they are great to work with.

We are visiting from Texas with my daughter who has celiac disease. She was so excited when we discovered this restaurant nearby. The food was delicious and came in generous portions. The servers were very helpful as we tried to figure out what to order. We will definitely go here again.

What a wonderful discovery. Tasty gluten free food. My wife has celiac and we've enjoyed our two times at Arepas. It is hidden out of the way but worth trying.

Arepas & Co. was amazing! Their food is sooo good!

The staff is very knowledgeable about allergens, so just inform them and they will help you find something that can work for you. Almost all of their items are gluten-free. Although they don't directly advertise any dairy-free items, they were able to help us make a dairy and gluten-free dish that was still very delicious.

The staff is friendly and the place has a fun atmosphere. The chef also came out to talk with us to make sure everything was great, which it was. Their prices are also really good; $6 gets you a LOT of food. Very highly recommended! I wish I lived in Dayton just so I could go every week!

Low chance for cross contamination. Very little gluten offered in store. Can eat in or get to go. I like the savory arepa best. I like it open faced or grilled with cheese. It was great when it first opened, quality had suffered. They do have gf beer option. Inexpensive for gf food. Buenelos taste like sweet hush puppies and are great if they are fried enough. They fry no gluten. Plantains are good. I like the rosada sauce. Party in your mouth is good and a lot of food. They have beans and rice as well as meat options.
