Ayothaya Thai Cuisine

Came to this restaurant for a date night when I was first diagnosed because I had heard Thai was an easier option to get GF food. I asked about any gluten free options and the owner came over and personally spoke with us about the items we were interested in when the waitress couldn't help us. She was upfront about what was used in specific dishes and guided me towards the safest options. She even went back and brought out a package of one of the products they use so I could see for myself if I would risk it or not. It was challenging but was able to finally choose a tasty dish and never got sick. Also the mango sticky rice was amazing! Good to know its at least a possible option if your in that area although I know there are much safer options in Orlando.

We left before we ordered. The waitress told us " it has no dairy" when we asked about gluten. She told us that only one thing on the menu had no gluten and it was a salad. Every question we asked she had to go check with the kitchen and sometimes said it only has a little in it. I don't think they understood GF at all.
