Love this place. They have a separate gluten free menu, and the staff was knowledgeable or willing to ask the chef for me. Their queso (unlike many other Mexican places that put beer in the cheese) is gluten free! The tacos are yummy. Get 3-4 for a meal.

Very good for people with gluten allergies! The corn tortillas are delicious and I had the short ribs and spicy mahi. Short ribs was the best! They did tell me the grill is shared with flour tortillas. Chips are yummy with green salsa verde!

Very impressed with Bakersfield. It's always nice to find good Mexican food that is gluten-free. Two of us went for lunch and had the queso appetizer with two tacos each. Plenty of food and super good! I had no problem with the chips or tacos.

Pricing is very reasonable for the area and service was good. If back in Pitt would definitely try again!

They don't have anything exclusively GF but prepare their own tortillas without flour. I had short rib and chicken tacos and both were really, really good!

They're clear about cross-contamination, so you want to be cautious -- there are several restaurants in that area that may have safer options.

They are mostly corn based with a few exceptions and they do have a separate fryer for their chips and flour fried items. My server was very knowledgable and what she didn't know she went to management to ask. They made sure to clarify with me that the food was not prepared on a desperate surface and they didn't necessarily vet all the vendors whose food they used so I appreciated their honesty. I had the pork belly pastor and huitlacoche tacos and both were fantastic! The huitlacoche had corn truffles in it and was very earthy in flavor. I will definitely go back!

Cool atmosphere and looks like tasty food...but they say none of it is gluten free except for: the chips. They are fried in a dedicated fryer. Just walk next door and eat at a place with a gluten free menu.

Servers are super knowledgeable. no gluten-free menu but majority of the menu is actually gluten-free. Can fry the tostadas in a dedicated gluten-free fryer. Food was delicious and good prices.

They have a small, separate GF menu. This menu specifically states that they are not a GF facility and do not guarantee safety of their food. They also put a section on the GF menu that is gluten reduces because there is beer in the prep. They include items in the GF section that are made in a contaminated fryer. Thankfully my server was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Chips are safe. Guacamole is really good. The special margarita was syrupy. The rest of the food I tried did not have much flavor.

They have a GF menu but NO dedicated fryer so chips aren’t GF. Most meats are braised with beer so only 4 taco options are GF. Meal was good but very limited options.

Came here before a RW game at LCA. They have a smaller gluten free & less gluten menu. Staff seemed pretty knowledgeable and did confirm no dedicated fryer but menu was ample. I opted for tacos and they were very flavorful. I have wheat, oat, barley, malt, rye allergies, and other grain intolerances and cross contamination hits me quickly but I have had no reaction. Will come again.
