Very excited to know we can eat here gluten free after visiting for years without that concern. The GF rolls are amazing as is the schnitzel and side options. Our whole family enjoyed it. My son and I (both Celiac) had no issues.

Amazing!!!! We LOVE this place! There is a dedicated GF menu and they will bring you GF bread too if you ask. They take it very seriously and the food is amazing. Always a great experience. Live German music every night and a outdoor patio Biergarten!

We’ve been eating here for many years and love their charming location! Our whole family has been able to pick something off of their authentic menu that they enjoy eating, and our waitress was very knowledgeable of the gluten-free menu they provide. Would recommend!

Came to the new location and it was still great food.

My favorite GF restaurant for a sit down meal. I come here every year on my birthday for the GF Weiner Schnitzel, hot GF bread, saurkraut, german potato salad, and GF affel strudel.

They have one GF beer, cider and various wines for alcohol options.

Started out hopeful and waitress was nice however when food came no one verified it was truly prepped right and when the sides were not what I ordered I definitely questioned my meal. We’ll come to find out one of the sides wasn’t even gluten free the kitchen allegedly confirmed my main course was. Well how can I trust you if you are going to cross contaminate my food with a non gluten free side item. Very disappointed I walked away without a meal after sitting in the restraint over 1 1/2 hours due to complete slowness. Worst post pandemic dining experience thus far. We will not be back

I called to see if they could accommodate my gluten intolerance and the manager Todd was extremely dismissive and rude. He seemed annoyed at my questions. Absolutely no kindness towards the allergy. If you call about an allergy ask to speak to the chef instead of the manager Todd. I ate here about 4 years ago without a problem and was just calling to double check if things were still the same.

Gluten free options are very tasty. Atmosphere is traditional German (in a depressing way). Not a place to enjoy if your 50 and below. I would get an order to go next time. Still appreciate the fact they offer really good options.

The best thing is the load of bread they bring to you! I’ve eaten here several times and the servers are always knowledgeable. Food is pricey, but delicious.

We love this place. They have a gluten free menu and two gluten free beers. Greens beer is the safest for Celiacs in my opinion. One visit they brought out fresh gluten free bread. On another they were a bit swamped so I didn’t ask for it.

*Cue the angels singing* So many traditional choices! They even have GF bread & dessert. I did not feel deprived.

I had a good experience here. They baked me some gluten free bread at no cost and the waitstaff was knowledgeable and eager to help.

DO NOT EAT HERE Terrible experience. Upon arrival we were told there would be a wait, but no idea how long. We were told someone would come find us later - ??? After 30 minutes, we asked hostess how much longer, & suddenly the table was available. We were seated in a very crowded room, couldn't even squeeze between the tables to sit down. Sat for over 10 minutes before manager came asked if we had been helped. Asked for GF menu. Told manager & waiter we were GF. A 3rd waiter brought out our food. I told him we ordered GF & he left with one of the plates. Never came back. Manager brought out the missing plate & we once again asked if it was GF. She said her cook said it was GF. My son ate about 1/2. Manager then said the GF rolls that come with the meal were given to someone else by mistake, but we could wait 20 minutes for more- whatever. Asked manager to check again on my son's food. She then confirmed that the pasta was not GF. Her cook thought she was referring to the meat. Who eats 1/2 GF????? Needless to say we all got sick.

Delicious food, knowledgeable servers. Let the staff know immediately that you require gluten free and they will bring out gluten free rolls and a separate menu. Will definitely be returning soon!
