Fantastic experience! My little guy is anaphylactic to wheat and they made us aware that normally they have GF tortilla chips but that week their fryer was broken so they didn’t have GF ones. She also made my son a quesadilla and made a sure everything was properly cleaned as to prevent any cross contamination. He ate his quesadilla and loved it! Between the manager and the waitress they really went out of their way to make our dining experience wonderful!

I have a gluten allergy (celiac autoimmune disease) and I have been to Besitos a couple of times without issues, but since they closed during the pandemic and reopened there’s been a lot of changes including the line chef who gave me flour tortillas instead of corn tortillas and made me sick! I understand mistakes happen but the first thing I told the waiter was that I had a severe gluten allergy and his response was “you’re in the right place, 98% of our menu is gluten free” ..... yet I was still given a wheat flour tortilla full of gluten with my dinner! It ruined my entire evening and I was in bed sick all night and the entire next day. My husband was very upset. The waiter and manager apologized numerous times but it only made me feel worse. And after all of that they remade my meal to go but only gave me the meat. No rice or beans or anything else that comes with the order . If I wasn’t feeling so terrible I would have made sure my husband didn’t pay for a thing but they charged him for his meal after expressing they would do anything they could to make it right . Smh.

My stomach killed me for days after eating here. I was so excited because it got great reviews on this app, my server seemed to know what he was talking about, and the food was great, but it was definitely not worth the pain afterwards.

This place is awesome. The chips are cooked in a GF designated fryer. And 90 percent of their menu is GF. The servers take the allergies seriously and ensure no cross contamination. Great restaurant.

Awesome food. Very nice place. Chips are GF. Had the steak tacos with corn tortillas and homemade table side guacamole as an app. Def will return.

So good! They don’t have a separate GF menu and the items aren’t not labeled GF but server said that 95% of menu was GF. Got the Mixtas Enchiladas which were good.. not what I was expecting but still delicious. The chips are cooked in a separate fryer and were very yummy... thin, crispy, and salty! Yum!

This place is amazing! have Celiac and never had an issue! the chips are done separately! the table side guac is enough for an entire meal! Any of the enchiladas are great!

Staff was knowledgeable about what was gluten free and they have a dedicated fryer! I am from Huntington, NY and the Besito in my town does not have a dedicated fryer so I was super excited!! Way to go Besito Tampa. I had the guac, a salad and a Patron margarita.. only because I am vegan.. otherwise there were a ton of gluten free choices. Their patron margaritas are delish! Definitely get one!

They were knowledgeable and almost everything was gf. They fry their chips in a separate fryer. Great service and awesome food. I wish we had one where I live. It was a pleasant surprise because traveling is hard and I'm very gluten sensitive.

Amazing service and delicious food and drinks! They’re very accommodating with gluten free and prepare special chips. The servers are very well informed of what can be made safely. The flavors are amazing!

Fabulous! Wait staff very familiar with need for GF- many items already GF but waitress took time to point out how specific dishes could be prepared to eliminate gluten. Great margaritas and GF chips upon request
