Great sunflower bread but INSANELY high prices. 7.00 for a HALF LOAF
They are amazing!!! I have two daughters with celiac and this place has been a lifesaver! We go back time and time again! They do a wonderful job.
Very good lemon poppyseed muffins!
gf and gf/dairy free options. Always awesome!! peanut butter cookies, sugar cookies, and carrot cake cupcakes or bars I highly recommend.
Best thing since gluten free sliced bread!
Good Lord is this place good. Doughnut holes are better than any I've ever had.
Best and safest GF option in the whole Twin Cities for cakes, breads, pizzas, and all GF options!
Love this place! I even had a small gluten free cake made for my wedding :)
wonderful baked goods. only one choice for bread, not happy. there are so many recipes for really good gf bread, french bread etc but sadly she offers nothing besides one loaf of regular gf bread. the gf buns are a flop, they fall apart and are nothing like a bun, more like a poor biscuit. food.com has gluten free girls gluten free french bread. americas test kitchen has special edition how can it be gluten free baking bookazine. perhaps if she adds more bread items to her bakery I would go back. the cookies were very good however. the mint brownie is bizarre because they use mint flavoring that's for gum not food or especially a brownie.
Cookies are excellent. Berry muffins are great. Lemon muffin is dry. Donut holes are back. I think they got the salt confused with another spice because it was a very salty batch but the ones I had a couple years ago were to-die-for! Frozen dough balls for pies are amazing. I agree with the customer service comments. But I make it a point to try to cheer the lot of them up. Maybe GF baking is stressful in that environment? Or maybe they are overworked. I appreciate what they provide though and their dough balls have helped me make amazing pies so I'm voting based on food and not service.
We had the lemon bar, cream cheese frosted pumpkin bar and mint brownie and all were delicious! They sell various cupcakes, cookies and have 7 different types of bread. They also have 9 different types of take-and-bake pizza! We ordered one for here, but give yourself plenty of time b/c it takes 45 minutes, plus the eating area is small with only three two-seater tables. Celiac friendly :)
Amazing cookies... cupcakes were ok- both times I've bought them though they were a bit on the dry side. I do have to agree with everyone else as well that the customer service really needs to be worked on.
Whether you need a grab and go treat or something to take home and prepare later, this Minnesota bakery is the perfect stop.
Stopped there for the first time this morning and I must say that I love the things I purchased. The peanut butter cookies, carrot cake, and lemon bars are really good. However, I also agree that the customer service is not very friendly.
Someone needs to train them in customer service. I always feel like I'm being a nuisance going In there. I will say their pumpkin bars are amazing . That's about it
Right in my neighborhood and the products are ok (nothing fantastic or anything I can't make atty home). Sadly, I've yet to leave there without feeling as if I was an unwelcome interruption to their commercial bakery process. Convenient for dedicated GF baked goods, but I can get the same products and friendlier service at the many local stores their products are sold at.
Products are great, however customer service not so great. The man who helped seemed busy and annoyed by my coming in. I will return, but I do hope for better service next time.
Horrible customer service, I only gave it one star because I had to put a rating.
My daughter was recently diagnosed, so we are currently sampling a wide variety of items. The carrot cupcakes and brownies are to die for - you'd never know they are GF if someone gave one to you and didn't tell you. My bread-loving son is a fan if the country bread and the banana-nut bread so far. The customer ahead of me raved about the pancake mix - he bought *8* packages. Next on the list to try is a take-and-bake pizza; yes, they sell pizza too. We will be regulars.
By far, my favorite bakery. Great banana walnut bread, biscuits, and country white bread. The spice cookies are my favorite.
Delicious treats here. The only issue for me was that a mint brownie that I had my eye on contained nuts (I guess we can't have it all!).
small and cute bakery. very comforting to know of a gluten free bakery though, since I have celiac disease. most definitely going again :)
Banana crunch cake, onion dill bread, and the donut holes---so delicious!!
Great bakery! Lots of selection and I think the items taste better than what I remember from traditional bakery's. I love the breads, and pretty much everything else!
Holy wow!!! This place is better then most gluten filled bakeries. Amazing treats. Had the cupcakes and cookies. We will be back in two days.
The muffins and bread rock!
I love this dedicated GF bakery!! I always get my GF pies here for the holidays, their bread is great and the lemon bars are out of this world. They are so friendly and helpful too. Pizza is great too!!
Dedicated bakery, so no cross contamination worries. Brownies, lemon bars and carrot cake all very good and I don't even have celiac disease! Love that I can buy one brownie or piece of cake for my son rather than a whole one. They take cake orders too!!
Excellent products! Try the pizzas , these are the best. The bread selection is out of this world, favorite would be the country sandwich and the cranberry nut orange. Too die for! Awesome cookies and muffins too can't go wrong with this family run GF business!
beyond excellent!has always supported all of the celiac community on mpls! and also the support groups! dedicated bakery.
