I had the grilled Salmon and avocado salad. It was good, I didn’t have a reaction but my husband (gluten full) had the blackened fish tacos and said they smelled off and did not have a good lunch experience. My rating is based on my experience but overall it’s an okay restaurant.

So good. Our server was not extremely knowledgeable about gluten allergies, so she asked the chef and got all the answers I needed. Loved the scallop risotto and had no issues afterward. Would definitely eat here again.

Very limited lunch menu. Very helpful in suggesting other restaurants.
I stayed at the hotel and ordered room service and ate in the restaurant. Both times they could tell me everything that was GF and were so knowledgeable of all allergies. The waitress made me feel so comfortable. They also have a dedicated fry fryer. Yum!

Blu is one of the few places on Folly to get Gluten Free. I am very sensitive so Sushi By Lisa and Blu are the only real safe places to eat. Blu’s lunch is very limited and staff is not as knowledgeable as dinner. The dinner servers have been trained well as we eat there once a week as locals. The old chef had many more options but I just ask the server to tailor the new menu to what I want and they are pretty good at accommodating. I highly recommend them for dinner. 👍👍

Stayed at the Tides Hotel for a ceremony/reception. The food they served at the reception was very good and almost all gluten free. But the regular restaurant had very limited options. I was hoping to have nachos but they share a flyer, which was expected. Breakfast buffet options were only eggs, bacon and fruit, not worth $13.
Wasn't a great experience. There weren't a lot of options. The staff was familiar, but not terribly knowledgable. I had a burger with no bun. None of their sides were gf except the fresh fruit (which wasn't terribly fresh). The ketchup wasn't gluten free, but I only knew that because I had to ask about the brand and look it up. Overall, we spent money on something not worth it. I was still hungry when done. Only giving 2 stars because my husband enjoyed his meal (although the service/bar service wasn't great either).
