Menu was clearly marked for GF items. I had a grilled chicken salad which was good. Service was excellent!

I had a terrible experience here. This is now my second time at this restraunt. The staff both times were inexperienced and very poor when it came to accommodating both my celiac needs as well as being a general customer. Both times my servers were rude to me and my family as well as seemingly unintrested and uncaring. The most recent experience, our server(I failed to get his name unfortunately), treated me and my partner very poorly. He spoke quickly to us and acted as though we weren't worth his time. When I explained to him that i needed something gluten free and when i told him that there must not be any cross contamination as i am extremely sensitive, he took no care, telling me "whatever". He wrote nothing down all awhile. He also treated my partner as though he were an idiot for asking questions about the food.
As for the food itself, there were only 2 entree options listed as gluten free. There was no gluten free menu, and the options didn't suit my needs. So for this i went with a salad with chicken, bacon, and a garlic sauce. It unfortunately was poor in quality. The chicken was dry and the garlic vinaigrette had far too much garlic for my taste. This was my second visit to the restaurant, and i had a terrible experience both times. Outside of the beautiful senery, this restraunt is not worth the money. The service is very poor, and the food is mediocre at best. And yes, I got very sick both times.
I find the restraunt both unsafe and overall not worth the visit.

I have Celiac Disease and while my husband does not, he prefers to eat gluten free when he is with me. The menu options were a bit limited. The server told me they don't have a separate fryer so all potatoes, including the roasted red potatoes (which now get fried) are not safe. The tortilla chips are bought and come in a bag, so not made in their fryer. I chose the chicken taco salad, after she checked with the kitchen to ensure the chips were safe, while my husband had the bloo salad. He said his was pretty decent but I would say mine was just ok. Overall it was an ok experience, but in Shepherdstown, there aren't many options so it works. They did say that they had gluten free bread if I wanted a sandwich but I chose to go with something naturally gluten free to be safe. I'm currently pregnant and my doctor advised me to be extra cautious about not getting glutened.

Lots of choices!! Food was clearly marked on the menu. Even a gluten free cheese cake for dessert. Beautiful outdoor patio with a stream running through it. Great service!!

Great setting! Love this app! Well marked menu, knowledgeable staff. Several dessert options too!
Everything was labeled if it was GF or not. It’s true that most of the GF options were salads, but I got the taco salad with chicken that had GF chips and black beans and really filled me up. More like nachos with lettuce.

Not good at all because it is.

Many GF options including appetizers and salads. All food we had was delicious, and the atmosphere outside was amazing. We asked about GF bread but they had just run out so you may want to call ahead if you’re really wanting a sandwich.

Fun, casual atmosphere. Plenty of options for gf, vegan, and df. Menu clearly marked, staff knowledgeable. Gf bread and desserts usually available (unfortunately they were out of bread this time but there were plenty of tortilla chip options to tempt me.) My first pick for lunch when in town!
Loved, loved, loved it! Really good sandwiches and salads. Staff was friendly and helpful. Gluten free brownie was lovely. Waitress suggested she could warm it up, great suggestion!

Not fabulous. I was really disappointed because it had good reviews, the staff didn't know what gluten is. They do have gf bread, but that it. Your side choices are potato salad and a side salad. If there is anything celiacs get sick of, it's salad!
Nice outside dining atmosphere
