Great food, better experience. They offer many gluten free options. Perfect for anyone looking for gluten free BBQ options in Traverse City. Food was amazing as always.

I have Celiac disease and this restaurant was awesome. They have a separate gluten free menu and I had the ribs. Delicious! Our server was very knowledgeable and told me not to eat my husband’s fries ( he is not gluten free). Loved it!

Made reservation for a large group (16) via email. They were super responsive and did not disappoint when we arrived early. Food and service was excellent. They have a large separate GF menu. Our daughter with celiac got ribs, mash potatoes and coleslaw. No reaction from eating and the server was helpful and reassured us when ordering. He also said one of their BBQ sauces is GF. I would not hesitate to go back.

Lexi (our server) was knowledgeable about Celiac. She took special care.

I ordered a sandwich for take out, and even with the "pandemic" going on and limited menu options, they still had gluten free buns. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about gluten free options. That was my second time eating there and I will definitely go there next time I'm up there.
Don't bother if you are Celiac or have an allergy. They have a gluten free menu however all the BBQ sandwiches are served dry. The BBQ sauce has gluten. I asked for a GF sauce & was offered ketchup. All of the sides are listed with the disclosure that they have gluten. Therefore they are not celiac-allergy safe; not sure why they are on the GF menu? All fried foods are fried with gluten containing items & the rest all have 'trace' amounts of gluten. When asking the server about which items would be safe she was rude & raised her voice to me for simply inquiring and proceeded to tell me that she didn't make the menu. I didn't feel that my food would ever be prepared safely in this establishment and left without ordering.

Our son was recently diagnosed as celiac and our trip to Traverse City was our first family vacation where he had to eat out 100% of the time. Blue Tractor had a separate GF menu and he had a number of choices. The only suggestion I would make is bring your own GF BBQ sauce but otherwise it was a great meal for the entire family.

Gluten free menu options with a great variety. Also some gluten free drinks-meads & ciders. Very nice and knowledgeable.
Yes
At least they make an effort...not the greatest options (sandwiches w/o the bun, salads w/o croutons), but they do offer some things. I was able to order their pulled pork entree without the sauce, with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. So it was decent. Not the greatest, but they make an effort.
