Unfortunately not celiac safe. When I went, I ordered a rice noodle dish they assured me was gluten free, but found out later it was boiled in the same water as regular noodles. Bummer, because the food is absolutely delicious.

No knowledge of cross contamination. Fryer not safe but they don’t understand that. I’ve been sickened twice here. And I had a curry. Still got sick.

Update: No Noodle dishes here are GF even though they are marked as so on menu. I confirmed with a manager that they cook all the Noodles in same water.
Tea leaf salad, pumpkin pork stew and coconut rice are all safe and so yummy!
How is food able to taste this good?! Don’t order noodles in the evening as they’re reheated in gluteny water. Otherwise some of the best dishes I’ve ever had, and if you talk with the server about being celiac in person and avoid noodles it’s all completely cross-contamination free for this very sensitive celiac.
Yes
Shrimp and eggplant dish labelled gf but they said it’s a “typo” so make sure to double check if something is gluten free!
Loved Burma Superstar pre-celiac, and had a positive experience at Burma Love recently. However, I had a reaction to some cross contamination tonight. I ordered take out, and think it would have been better for me to order and eat at the restaurant.
Lots of gluten free options! 3/4th of the menu is gluten free. My daughter got her meal and was convinced it had gluten sinxe it was so good-it was gluten free! She has celiac and had no problems, the coconut cury is amazing.

Visiting the area and ordered the chicken curry based on the reviews. It tasted great. And it was gluten free.

I love the food here, as there are many gf options, but as a Celiac, I got consistently cc'd after eating here. Finally I went in at lunchtime when they were not so crazy busy, and asked our server, who knew immediately what the problem was. Although they use rice noodles, they are cooked in the morning and heated up later in the same water as wheat noodles. Knowing this, I don't order any dishes with noodles, and have not gotten cc'd again.
Delicious food, staff seemed knowledgeable. There isn't a gf menu but they told me everything I was able to get gf.
Super delicious. LOVE the tea leaf salad and pumpkin pork stew. Make sure to let them know you're gluten free and they can work with you on any changes.
I am a celiac and never have a problem, other than wanting to eat more!!!

Window shopping in Alameda used the app only place to come up was the German place and chipotle... So walking to chipotle saw the menu at Burma Superstar (zagat rating) ask the host if they had any gluten free option and she said they could make many of the dishes gluten free. She said they have gluten free soy sauce and rice noodles.,, perfect! And the food and service was simply perfect!! And I'm about 98% sure they are Celiac friendly.
