I had a great experience here. They do not offer gluten free pasta so you are mostly limited to grilled items. The server seemed very knowledgeable about what was gf and made sure my salad was tossed in a fresh bowl. I was told their grill baste is now gluten free.
There is a GF menu, but why? They do not offer GF pasta. Their grill is not dedicated. The menu comes with directions on how you should place your order. I ordered Caesar salad and garlic mashed potatoes. The salad was good. I'm afraid I couldn't recommend this one.
Excellent selection and service. Delicious food too. I tell them when I put name in that I need gf, and they always seem to give me someone knowledgeable.
Be aware of what you eat here if you have ciliac, watch out for the chicken soup, the soup is cook without noodles and the noodles are added when you order but for some reason most of the time I ask for it gluten free (no noodles) they always mess up and there is noodles in my soup, they have the noodles container right next to the soup container and they drop noodles in there all the time, one time I found one noodle in my soup, one day I found one noodle with my steak sauce, I always look thru it before I start eating it.
Amazing and the staff is very knowledgable as well!!
I have celiac. Asked for the GF menu. The waitress noticed the menu before I could even say anything about preparation. She went to ask about a drink I wanted to ensure which were GF. When my salad was brought out, the server said, "Here is the GF salad." We had the best experience! The food was fantastic! I highly recommend eating here!
The manager and servers at this location are awesome! They only know a little, but the little they do know is important, and they aren't afraid to ask to find out! They even asked me how I would like them to prepare my entree so I could feel more comfortable. My family enjoyed a great meal here!
Sirloin Marsala was good, although the smallest piece of beef I have ever seen. Issue was with the waiter, who did not hear my husband correctly and brought him the same dish as me, in spite of him clearly saying he wanted LASAGNA!! Ah well, gluten free for him today, too!!
This place does understand food allergies. they dont offer gluten free alternative foods, like, breads pasta or pizza. they have a gf menu with delicious italian foods. They prepared the food well. my son, 10 with Celiac, ordered the filet with green beans and no sauce. He liked it. He was disappointed not tobe able to get a gf pizza.
We were here while vacationing in FL. Our celiac son ordered a gluten free chicken entree. When it came out, there was pasta on his plate. (Not a whole serving, just a couple stray pieces.) We called a server over and they dealt with it appropriately. They took it back to the kitchen and eventually brought him a new dish. We were fairly sure they didn't just remove the pasta from the same plate because it took them a while, presumably to re-make it. They also took his dish off the bill and gave him a free dessert. The manager came to our table and apologized multiple times. He had no adverse reaction to the meal. Overall, they handled it appropriately but could have been a different experience if our son hadn't noticed the pasta.
Walking in the door I was told all the GF menus were accidentally thrown away. Our server was knowledgeless about any GF options. The web address that this app provides does not work. Once I did locate their GF menu I was very disappointed in the options provided. If I wanted meat & veggies I would have gone to Outback next door.
DO NOT EAT HERE!! Went last night with my boyfriend and was so excited because they have a gluten free menu. Was going through checking items and asking the server my usual questions, because since I also can't have soy I have to double check everything, and he finally just brought me the allergen list from the kitchen because he wasn't sure of much - which is fine because he was great and very accommodating. But then as I'm looking through this list I see that 99% of their items in general contain wheat and soy. When my boyfriend went to tell the the manager this and asked for clarification, the manager argued with him and when I tried to point out that everything on my supposedly gluten free menu contained wheat and soy he walked away while I was mid sentence. I was already in the process of eating a caprese salad during this time (which I still thought was fine) but by the time we left I knew something was wrong because I started having serious stomach pain and progressively have been getting sicker. I want to know who the idiot is who made a gluten free menu that apparently everything has wheat (and soy) in it because if I had not gotten the allergen list I would never have known.... Don't eat there!
Kudos to Carrabbas for a real gluten free menu that wasn't filled with dairy ladden options. We use to be regulars till I was diagnosed with celiacs. There staff is knowledgeable about gluten and even delivered my salad by saying "we have a gluten free salad". Usually they show up with croutons. Thanks Carrabbas.
The waiter wasn't at all knowledgable about Celiac or gluten. When I asked about how the grill items were prepared he assured me that he spoke directly to the chef and that no gluten would come in contact with my food. Contrary to what the gluten free menu stated. He insisted that all grill items were prepared with rice flour grill baste and were gluten free. Against my better judgement I ordered from the grill menu hoping that what he said was true. However, I had a reaction to something I consumed. I'm very disappointed.
the only thing gluten free is a salad, why are places claiming to have GF options if all they have are raw vegetables.
Good selection on gluten-free menu. Staff knowledgable. Food was good.
