No separate grill or fryer. The only gluten free thing on the menu is the chili.

Staff always very honest about how all the food is made including any cross contamination issues. They will cook everything in a new pan and let you know if something you want cannot be made that way. If you want the waffles come before 5pm! Sandwiches aren’t an option sadly but they have so many other choices. Will definitely be back!

I visited here twice during my stay in New York and may go again - I felt very safe eating here. It is small and the wait staff was attentive to me as a diner sitting at the bar. The menu items are clearly labelled and, since it is a vegan diner, it was easy for me to find options to accommodate my milk allergy. I had the Awesome Bowl twice, because it was so good and made me feel wonderful! I also had the waffle sundae - gluten free waffle with soy ice cream and vegan whipped cream! The next day I also had a couple cookies - chocolate chip and orange-coconut something or other. Everything was delicious and I really just felt so comfortable there!

Lots of gf options marked on the menu. Many of them I wouldn't have gone with as a strict celiac but when I explained about the severity of it the staff was friendly and helpful and helped me choose some delicious options.

All vegan diner with lots of gluten free items market on their menu. The staff is accommodating to your diet/allergy needs. Besides the meals, they also have great desserts and baked goods.
