My understanding is everything down the line is gluten free. I have ate here many times and never had an issue. As far as the bread added to the menu, it has not affected my dining experience. I don't know if they have gf bread options or not but they have a sign to let them know if you have allergies and they will accomodate. I go for the Asian food not for a sandwhich. I understand why they added another option and am fine with it. Thank you Chiku - I was so sad to go there today and see that you are no longer in business. We went to Fraiche at Thanksgiving point. Dedicated gf facility, first gf pancakes while eating out. Menu changes with the season. Check it out, pass the word so it doesnt have a similar fate as Chiku. It was delicious!

We love this place!! Whether you need to eat gluten free or not it is incredible food for reasonable prices. My celiac husband has never been sick here and we've been a lot.

So good, and everything there is gf besides the bread and ranch dressing. So many great options!
Updated May 2017: Still enjoying it, I've never reacted here. (Everyone, be fair in your ratings... it should not be the case that In-N-Out and Avenue Bakery are ranking higher than this amazing place but they are. Yes, I get it that you're sad they added sandwiches but they are the most dedicated restaurant I've been to. I don't even know of a 100% GF restaurant in the area so to vote them down is unfair when other restaurants on this site get a 'pass'.)
Updated Feb 2017: Still great, never had an issue. Ate there today again, love it. I've probably eaten here now a dozen times. I think other reviewers are overreacting about the bread being in the building. I've only ever seen one person eat a sandwich.
Awesome to have the majority of a menu be GF. My non-GF family loved it as well as me. The food is fresh -- I watched the employees peeling pears by hand. Go team!

This place is amazingly knowledgeable and careful with gluten. The staff is great and they are aware of most allergens. My wife is celiac, dairy-free, and egg-free and she can eat 90% of what's on the menu without worry and has never been sick.

Really sad. This was the only dedicated gluten free option in Utah county and as a result me and my wife who has Celiacs used to come so often and recommend it and bring friends. It's really beyond me that they would bring bread in and I don't think reviews downplaying it are helpful. The value in having a restaurant that was totally safe can't be overstated for those with Celiac disease. As a result, many of us were loyal and super supportive and it felt like a slap in the face to add bread. There are many many restaurants that will have gluten free options and you just have to watch out for a few things. Now Chiku is in that broad category where you are taking your chances on someone else wiping up crumbs properly and washing their hands all day before you get there. If you are someone who doesn't have to really be careful then great. It's not that I would want Chiku to fail and I hope they do great, but for those of us who were super loyal when they were getting started only to have a change that was against the whole stated mission statement of 100% gluten free is disappointing. And yes, I know the change was some time ago and I remember that day vividly because they stopped us and explained they were not completely safe for Celiacs anymore when we were midway through the line (we went several times a week for months and the staff knew us) and we had to leave. But I'm writing my review now because if people are going to leave reviews minimizing the experience of Celiacs on a gluten free app I'm going to respond with how we feel.

I am sad to hear that this once "dedicated gluten free" restaurant is no longer. The moment you brought bread into your restaurant and on to your food line, you blew it for many of us who eating GF is not just a fad. Heartbreaking!

They have a great menu. It is the closest thing to Chinese food we have found and liked!
NO LONGER a dedicated GF facility! WAS So nice to walk in and make any choice you want off the menu. Pick a grain, pick a meat, pick veggies, pick a sauce and voila your stir fry is ready. Very fast, delicious, and NO LONGER SAFE to eat!! They even have dessert (rice pudding). WAS A must go!

No longer gluten free due to the fact they are making sandwiches on non gluten free bread very disappointed is hard to find a gluten free place no longer celiac friendly

***NO LONGER A DEDICATED GLUTEN-FREE FACILITY***
I have celiac (as sensitive as they come), and I ate here a couple times a week and never had any problems. This week I walked in and was horrified to find out that they decided to start serving sandwiches. Since this menu change is new, I'm not sure if it will still be safe to eat here any more. Regardless, I am really disappointed that they let down the celiac community and changed their menu and what they stood for. They may get a few new customers with their new menu but they lost a loyal one today.

So delicious, fresh, and I love that everything there is gluten free. I think I've been 5 times in the last two months. It's my new favorite.
Delicious from the word go- good service, clean facility, dedicated gluten free!
Pad Thai was very good, had the chicken with it. The chicken was not great only because it was not trimmed well. A little to fatty for me, had a good flavor though. I will come back.

I am celiac and very sensitive. I have loved eating here. I also cross react with Tapioca as well, but have never had any problems eating here. They only thing that has tapioca is the Pad Thai noodles. They are even careful with using separate serving utensils for different foods. The food is all very fresh and tastes amazing.

great food and have never had an issue with gluten. it is now one of our gluten free favorites!
Everything here is gluten free. So many options to choose from, delicious!
Just mediocre food. Nice that it is a gluten free establishment though.

Such a great find. Loved it.

amazing food! friendly service and ALL gluten free!! GF heaven!

All Gluten free!!! What an amazing experience! the portions are large and the food tastes pretty good. My husband and rarely eat out because it is so difficult but this was easy! The server at the counter said that the owner has celiac as well which helped us to feel 100% confident that I wasn't going to get sick. but 1 downfall, everything on their menu is SPICY.

I love the food and that there is a no worries GF place to go to!!!

Based on other reviews I gave it a try. Loved the choices, all entirely gluten-free, and all the food I love. Just wish it was closer to work and home.

This place is amazing! I found it through the Find-Me GF app, and decided to give it a go. We had a large group, most of whom weren't Celiac, and they were very concerned about an entirely gf restaurant. "It'll be flavorless cardboard!" was their complaint. But every single person loved it!! (Including the kids! Even my pickiest slurped every bit from her bowl!) now I want them to open a franchise by me!! If you like Asian, this is a winner!!!!

The whole restaurant was gluten free, it says so on the menu. I really appreciate this place for that! It is great to be able to choose from a selection of rice, meat, sauce, and veggies. It is really good and not very expensive.
AMAZING! Great service and the food is fantastic! I'm so beyond excited to come back and try new things. It's everything me and my gf family can eat! Non-gmo, organic, AND gluten free. The prices are very reasonable! I really can't say how great this place is!
Yes
Very celiacs friendly! A family came in, and dad tried to bring in 5 Guys, and the owner asked him to eat outside because he doesn't allow gluten in the restaurant. Everything is gluten-free. (Bonus, the only thing that had eggs in it is the pad Thai.)
Yes
Ate dinner there tonight. Love the flavors and food. Will be going back!!!!

Soooo nice not having to worry about what I can eat or not eat! Staff was great, service was fast, food was full of flavor too. Definitely recommend. Only critique would be that it could have been served a bit warmer but it wasn't cold either. Otherwise GREAT!
So excited to be able to try out the food in the test kitchen even before it opened. It was phenomenal!! I've had celiacs almost 4 years and have never found a restaurant in Utah Valley where the entire restaurant was gluten free. The food was so delicious and safe. I will be back many more times!

the resraunt isnt even open yet and the owner is writing fake reviews lol, wow
I love how healthy and fresh the food is! Will be coming back for more!
All gluten free restaurant! No gluten allowed in building. Non GMO and no trans fats. Finally I don't have to choose from a different menu. I can eat anything. The whole family can come together and eat. You would never guess it is all gluten free!
Brand new Pan Asian Restaurant, completely gluten free! The spicy poku with massaman curry was amazing. All those with gluten allergies this is the place to go without fear!
