My top Mexican food choice in Columbus the last several years- never had an issue and had been told years ago a family member was intolerant so they take it seriously. Typically have gluten free chips they can provide which are different & not in the fryer like the normal appetizer chips. The waiters can also point out what to avoid if you are severely sensitive (like shared fryers, etc) but still a huge variety of food and meats to choose from! The Southwest taco salad is amazing.

Chile Verde is my go-to anytime I’m on this side of Columbus. I am severe Celiac and have never gotten sick. The food is delicious and they have an amazing GF menu - the owner has family with celiac and always visits our table to ask about my allergy & go through their precautions with me. They also have separate GF chips, so no need to bring your own šš

I ate here a couple days ago (12/16/21) Felt terrible afterwards. Reflux and upset stomach, which is a sign that I had gluten.

Wonderful experience. I advised the staff that I am GF, DF, SF and the manager double checked the menu items and their ingredients to let me know what was safe to order. They clearly marked the receipt and each of my items with my allergies.

Great food. I have celiac disease and they had plenty of options. Got so much food for around $30

What a great restaurant for Celiac's!!! The family that owns the restaurant is gluten free and they take all the precautions necessary to keep Celiac's safe! They have baked chips and will accommodate most any request. Our girls had very happy bellies!

They have a wide array of GF options and the food is delicious!

The Gluten Free menu starts off with a message from the Anthony family stating they are also Gluten free and understood the difficulty in dining out. The GF menu is full of great options. They even have GF chips and salsa!
Great options and knowledgeable staff. Even have gf tortillla chips.
The food here is good but over priced for what you get. The service is total crap!
I have worked at the chile verde cafe, and I know that their gluten free menu is trustworthy. It honestly depends on the sever you have. Celiacs, this is a trust worthy restaurant. If you have any questions about the food and gluten free menus, ask for Tom. He is the owner of the restaurant, and lives in a gluten free home and would be more than happy to help you look over the menu.

Good food but the GF menu can not be trusted. Kitchen staff and servers seem very confused to which items are gluten free. I was exposed to gluten here many times and it took awhile to realize this restaurant was the source because I trusted their GF menu. Celiac's DO NOT EAT HERE.
