I was excited because they have like a 3 page gluten free menu. However, their knowledge of gluten free is POOR. I ordered gluten free pasta and asked for it to be boiled in fresh water, and using clean utensils. It was served with REGULAR bread on top of it. We ate here late and there was only one other table here, so it’s not like they were busy and got orders mixed up. Simon was our waiter.

The manager running the gf program here has a child who is gf. The staff has a good understanding of gf needs and a good program in place to prevent cross contamination in the kitchen. The menu has a bunch of options and the food is good. There is a gf brownie for dessert that is wonderful.

Delightful cozy restaurant with a fabulous 3-page gluten free menu, including a delicious shrimp pasta dish. Attentive wait staff to gluten issues.

The promise of gluten free buns and gluten free friendly menu brought us in, the good food, patio seating, very friendly service will bring us back! Excellent burgers, nothing lost from the old location, & great menu, fun beer selection, and great outdoor seating. It did not feel at all that we were just off Maple and Naper. The service was above and beyond. GF friendly, we will come back!

They had a separate gluten allergy menu, but there were question marks written by some of the items which concerned me. I ordered a burger and it was delicious. My waitress wouldn’t give me a straight answer on whether or not the bun was toasted in a separate area than regular buns, so this made me nervous. However, I didn’t end up getting sick so it must have been fine!

We have eaten here too many times to count and my super sensitive celiac daughter has never gotten sick. They have delicious gluten-free buns for all the sandwiches & burgers, baked potatoes, ribs, etc. Daughter gets a hot dog and we always remind them to make it in the microwave -not boil in the pasta water. - they are kind enough to chop apples for her side even though it’s not on the menu. They do not have dedicated g free menu and not all of the staff are particularly knowledgeable, however the kitchen staff knows how to prevent cross contamination & they take allergies seriously. Just let them know you have celiac or a “serious allergy”

Unfortunately no special GF menu or a separate fryer. However, the staff was so helpful and so knowledgable. They even can back to go over the spices in the seasoning. Of course Sweet Ali's buns just made it that much better. I am a sensitive Celiac and my son is Celiac as well. Both our meals were wonderful and we were happy. Gave them 4 stars for the obvious reasons. I will be back

Server not knowledgeable about gf, but honest about it. Had gf bun with burger and baked potato. Burger was good and price reasonable. Did not get sick. Made a second visit...hamburger and baked potato- tasted good....got VERY SICK!!! Never going again. Sweet Ali stop selling to them, they are giving your brand a bad name.
