Manager says nothing is gluten-free due to cross contamination. All cooked on same grill

The waitress didn't seem that informed or careful. I probably should have got a plain egg and side of fruit but I got the huavos rancheros with no rice or corn pone trusting they were right when they said I would be ok. Jury is still out if I will flare. The corn tortillas are fried so who knows about cross contamination there.

Mostly just eggs, spiced apples, meat, and potatoes are GF. Went when it wasn’t busy and was served cold greasy food. My husband got an omelette and ended up with food poisoning. This place used to be great but has definitely gone down hill. Avoid if you can.

I have celiac and ordered the veggie omelet with a side of fruit. Waitress was unhelpful for the most part but did confirm only eggs are cooked on grill.

Limited to GF options. But the server was knowledgeable! I got the bacon omelet.

Great find! There isn’t a gluten free menu, but the staff was super kind about answering what ingredients are used. I got eggs, potatoes, bacon and candied apples. Very tasty. Reminded us of a Cracker Barrel. The atmosphere is pretty cute, too!

The food was good. Limited to naturally gluten free items like omelets, eggs, and meats. I ordered the bacon omelet with jalapeños and fruit on the side. We spoke to a manager who was very unwilling to check on if items were gluten free or to report how items are cooked in the back. His reply was “you should be fine” and acted annoyed that I asked questions. Not an acceptable answer for someone with celiac disease. Food was good, but I stuck to the basics. No gluten free menu.

Have eaten here for many years. No issues. Yesterday morning I was given a gf menu no problem. Today, one day later. They state they no longer have a gf menu. Just FYI. Most of the omelets and sides are gf but always ask since the menu is gone

The waitress says they cook meat and eggs on a separate grill. Potatoes are also cooked on a separate grill. Grits are not gluten free. They no longer offer a gluten free menu. Basically all my celiac kid could have were eggs, potatoes, and drink.

Ask for the gf menu! There’s plenty on it (no gf pancakes or waffles). Food was good with good sized servings. Neat 1800s atmosphere.

Great 1800’s atmosphere. Breakfast options basically were great egg/omelet options and grits. I had bacons and cheese omelette with grits. It was good. Omelet had a lot of bacon. When my food was delivered, they said, Gluten-free.

Got sick twice. Great food but despite whatever precautions they took cross contamination must be an issue here.

Yes
There were several choices- for gluten friendly. The potatoes were noted as gluten free- which is something that I miss every time we go out for breakfast. The service was great and the food was correct and great- no symptoms

My husband has celiac disease and we get so worried about eating out. They have a large gluten free menu and my husband didn't get sick. Waitress was familiar with GF menu. We would reccomend!
Yes
Do not go if true celiac!!! I read review about server asking which person had gluten free plate, and they go have full GF menu... however waitress didn’t really comprehend GF yet alone the celiac term.. man who brought food over never asked which one was GF.? I ate a 1/4 of my food before feeling horrible in restaurant...DO NOT GO IF CELIAC... unless you enjoy being sick on a 1500 calorie breakfast!!! I hated to even give 1star but I couldn’t post review without picking a star....

The staff was friendly and wonderful. Good size GF menu. I ordered a skillet meal-it tasted great. Within a minute of getting my food, my waitress and a manager came to make sure my order was exactly what I ordered. I had no reaction (wheat allergy). Would definitely eat here again.
Amazing GF breakfast menu! Huge portions, too! I had an omelet with corn pone on the side and the best grits that I have ever tasted. No adverse reactions.

I'm always nervous eating out. I have celiac and I'm very sensitive. I was a little nervous because then waiter didn't seem very knowledgeable. I had the heuvos rancheros with corn tortillas and it was DELICIOUS! When they brought it out they asked who had the gluten free plate, it's the only reason I ate it!! They are very fast and friendly service and the food was nicely put together and was DELICIOUS!! I ate most of it and I did not get sick. I'd definitely plan on eating there again before I leave!
Yes
Great gluten free menu with many tasty options! Our server knew what a gluten allergy was, and was knowledgeable about items that would or wouldn’t contain flour.
Yes
Delicious breakfast food with a full gluten free menu that had several safe options. Husband was able to eat a full meal without getting sick.
The food was amazing, I had the corn beef hash. Though I should say be careful if your celiac, I’m I have a gluten intolerance and I was unaffected, but I don’t think that they have a special cooking area for people with an severe intolerance to gluten. Overall, if you think you might be fine eating here it is a must stop restaurant, for breakfast/brunch. Side note, if you do plan to come I would come early because seating wait times can be very long,(somewhere between 1 to 2 hours).
I was happy with their corned beef hash and instead of eggs got sliced fruit and avocado, then candied apples. I was full and felt ok eating there!
Very knowledgeable staff and delicious food!
They do have a gluten free menu that has omelets, corned beef hash, huevos rancheros, different skillet dishes that are all gluten free.
