Last evening I came here for a Valentine’s Day dinner. I was afraid at first. I don’t like to be so far away from home and try new food. I always think, what happens if I get sick? However, that was not the case. This was one of the best meals that I have had in years. I was blown away when the server brought out hot fresh gluten free bread with butter in a basket with a cloth napkin. My eyes started to well up with tears. When was the last time I had hot fresh gluten free bread out? I can’t even remember. It was so delicious! I was able to order an appetizer on the menu. Wait what.... First gluten free bread, now an appetizer? I thought I had died and gone to heaven. The server told me that for my main entree I could have about 95 percent of the entrees made gluten free and a honey Dijon mustard salad dressing. I chose to have lemon wedges with the salad. It was a really good salad. I could have crumpled up the bread as croutons. I didn’t. I ordered the chicken Parmesan and gluten free pasta with a marinara sauce. I had the spinach artichoke dip with gluten free bread as an appetizer. To top it all off, drum roll please..... I was also able to order a dessert. Creme brûlée with a fresh strawberry dusted with cocoa powered. I could have had two of those. My friend’s dish looked amazing too. However, I have a shellfish allergy. So all in all, it was an amazing dining experience. Well worth the drive and money. Plus he also offers cooking classes. I hope he offers gluten free cooking classes. His food is amazing. I will definitely be back! My hats off to the chef. A total gluten free dining experience from the start to the end.

Good food. The chef came out and talked to me specifically without me asking, and told me about accommodations he could make. He even whipped up a gluten free salad dressing for me since their house dressing was not. Nice evening!

Amazing food! The staff was knowledgeable and you can get most anything on the menu can be made gluten free. They don’t have separate menu but just have to ask. The chef came out a few times to make sure everything was good. Would recommend this place!!!

Amazing! There are many reasons to love this place, even if you don’t need gluten free. But since I do have celiac, I couldn’t be happier to have discovered this bistro. Usually when I’m told the chef can accommodate a gluten free request, that generally means I get a piece of meat, minus sauce, a baked potato, and some hastily steamed vegetables tossed on my plate. But not at David’s. Oh, no. At David’s, I feel like a normal person. I can order 95% of the menu, and it will be crafted (yes, crafted) gluten free. The chef came to our table and explained that he keeps gluten free items in his kitchen to sub in. Even bread for the table! I can’t remember the last time I was able to eat safely, and deliciously, outside my own kitchen. He clearly loves what he does, and cares about the food he serves. Will go back again and again!

I am safe eating here. David does a wonderful job making sure my meal is safe. I have multiple food allergies and have gluten ataxia. This is an auto immune disease that causes damage to the brain, cerebellum specifically. My doctor says it is life and death and that I should never eat outside my home. I literally can trust David's with my life!

Amazing! Very knowledgeable. Gluten free bread served complimentary before meal. Pasta was soooo good. Service is exceptional and the server was very informed about celiacs.

David's Bistro has a wait staff that will "absolutely" make you feel "comfortable "dining out gluten free. As someone who has celiac disease and will become physically ill with contaminated food it is at times chancy to dine out.

David's Bistro is high on my list for safe dining. That said, the food got a five rating from all my non gluten free fellow diners!

I visited w my 2 boys ages 11 & 8. The children's meals are $5.99 and include beverage and dessert. Both children enjoyed Their choice. I had a great pasta (gluten free of course). The menu doesn't show what is gluten free. When I asked the waiter said they had buns for burgers and any pasta could be made gluten free as well as pizza! The owner David came by to our table to say hello it was a wonderful experience.

Kids meals for $5! Lunches start around $10. Chef David has celiacs, major allergies (himself), and vegans in the family and seems to cater to special needs. While he doesn't have a separate menu his staff has all seemed well versed in gluten especially and will go out of their way to cater to your needs. If you ask they even have gluten free pasta on hand. Just give them extra time to prepare (we all know how long that stuff takes!) I have stuffed bistro filet with no problems multiple times. Made gf mac and cheese for my celiac daughter! Highly recommend... check their website for the menu...
