I attended an event catered by this restaurant that was supposed to have several gluten free options. Unfortunately they immediately cross contaminated several of the options and even in sides I found gluten noodles. It seems like their catering is not up to snuff and as a result I got very sick.

Wonderful experience. I am a very sensitive celiac and almost never go out to eat. I had no reactions and the food was delicious!

So tasty! They had a gluten free menu, but for sides you had to ask. Our waiter Adrienne so super knowledgeable and funny.

Barbecue sauce is gluten-free
This is the only place in the Rochester area that I have never gotten sick from eating at. Every server I have ever had knew exactly what celiacs was and were knowledgeable beyond belief. They bring your food out on a different colored plate. They offer a separate menu but honestly the server can tell you everything you need to know. I am super sensitive to cross-contamination and this is the only place I never worry about eating at!

They have a GF menu with lots of options.
They also verbally announced my allergen plate when they brought it to the table, and I noticed that my plate was red while my family’s plates were blue. I confirmed with my waitress that that was intentional - the red is for allergens!
I also asked if they change gloves and she said yes.
As always, the food is amazing. I got the “Tres Niños” (pulled pork, ribs, and brisket) with mashed potatoes and tomato cucumber salad.

Overall pretty good experience! I ordered ribs, and 4 sides of corn, bbq beans, tomatoes and cucumber salad, and cooked collard greens. I didn’t get sick and food was delicious!
They have a gluten free menu, but it doesn’t say which sides are gluten free, which makes no sense to me. They also brought my food out with two pieces of corn bread on the platter after I told them about my gluten allergy (celiac). It was a mistake by a waitress who wasn’t my own, and they fixed it immediately by switching out my rack of ribs, and getting me all new sides (they let me keep the old ones too).
Overall good experience!

Ordered take out on door dash. Got the bbq chicken with mashed potatoes (specified in the comments needed to be gluten free due to celiac and please no gravy) also got the black beans and rice. Food arrived with sticker on the container specifying “gluten free”. Was great until I opened it and there’s gravy on the potatoes (which has gluten) called and was told I had to go through door dash for the refund. At least sides are packaged in individual containers so I could still have the rest of the meal. The chicken was good but I was not a fan of the black beans and rice. I’ve also had the salt potatoes on separate occasion and wasn’t a fan.
Great food and service. Our server was knowledgeable. Most of the menu is gluten free- all the meats and several sides. Cool atmosphere too.
I am leaving 3 stars as on my last visit i ordered off the gluten free menu, had meal prepared by manager and after eating part of my greens i found a pasta in it. I will not be ordering sides again but I do feel you would be safe ordering just a meat.

Separate GF menu. The wait staff assured me that they were knowledgeable about cross contamination and that I could have a completely GF meal. I had 1/4 slab of ribs with coleslaw and bbq baked beans. It was brought out separate from my husband’s regular meal by the manager. It was delicious and I didn’t get sick.

Ribs were delicious and my server was very knowledgeable about cross contamination. Great meal!!

Ordered take out and specified it needed to be gluten free, specified no bread or gravy. When I got home my food had cornbread on top of all the meat and gravy on the mashed potatoes.
Excellent bbq, huge portions and many, many gluten free options! I would go back.

Delicious ribs! Great Cole slaw too.
A great option and good food. Separate gluten-free menu, and they take cross-contamination seriously. Their daily specials are often also gluten free. Our party had 3 people with Celiac disease, and they were kind, courteous, and very helpful during the entire ordering process. When they brought the food out the manager also came out to explain their whole process for avoiding cross-contamination. I've eaten here twice now and it's been great each time. Portions are huge, sauces on the wings are great, and wait staff is friendly.

If you love barbecue, you'll love this place. Off the gf menu, I had the jumbo BBQ chicken wings with the garlic chipotle sauce - delicious. I only ordered 3, but could have made a meal of just them. I then had the tres ninos which is a sampler of the BBQ brisket, ribs, and pork with 2 sides - I had rice and beans, and a tomato cucumber sauce for a total of $20 before tax. I had a hard cider that was a bit spendy at $7.50. Note: call ahead for reservations, especially on Friday night or a weekend. I was there on Friday at 7:00 pm and there was a 45 min wait for a table and it was packed with people waiting. It's a fun, boisterous place. I'll add some pictures.

Great restaurant with a specifically gluten free menu. Most foods are available gluten-free and had the best barbecue I've ever had!

Server was extremely helpful (thanks Maria!) Great selections and the gluten free chocolate cake was delicious.

Amazing food, very knowledgeable staff, a great GF dining experience!

This place was great! They have a separate GF menu, wait staff is very knowledgeable about GF and allergy prep. Many items are naturally GF and GF plates I was told are prepped separately. My meal came out on a different plate that they keep separate for GF meals and brought to the table separately by the manager. The only problem was that the food looked so delicious I immediately began to consume it before taking a photo.

I had the 1/4 rack of baby back ribs with the cucumber tomatoes salad and BBQ beans as sides. It was delicious!! I made sure to let Jenn know I was celiac and they verified when the food was delivered it was gf. No reaction to it. I wish I lived nearby because I would be back!

This is a must stop if you’re in Buffalo! The food is incredible and even better, they really understand celiac and have so many safety precautions in place. Ask for a gluten free menu when you’re being seated. There are so many choices for gluten free. Personally, I think everyone should try the applesauce - it’s homemade and honestly tastes like apple pie. Gluten free food gets flagged for the kitchen, they wash their hands, switch their gloves and serve food on a red colored plate. Celiacs can definitely eat here safely and enjoy fantastic bbq!!!
