No gluten free menu, very questionable knowledge by staff regarding cross contamination.

I'm giving this restaurant 4 stars instead of 5 because they don't have a dedicated fryer, (which of course made all corn tortillas and corn chips off limits). But the waiter knew what gluten was, and so he was helpful as I placed my order. I ordered the burrito without the tortilla, and it was absolutely delicious.

I've eaten here 4 times and never been sick. the chips and tortillas are not gf. I eat the fajitas with no tortillas. The tamales are also safe.

It is really hard to rate them only 3 stars because they are so nice. However, the tortilla chips are gf but are fried with other flour items. Thee is no menu that lists gf items but the waiter did ask in back and was kind enough to let me know i had chosen a gluten option. i ordered a chicken salad because i didn't want to be more challenging. So hard to say celiac friendly or not.

Stopped in for lunch to enjoy their nice patio in downtown Santa Ynez. Before we were seated I inquired about a GF menu or options, and Dario, our server, was quick to name off all the options or substitutions. There are really quite a few choices, and they were very patient with it all. I would absolutely recommend, as about half the menu was or could be made GF. Substitutions and all, my food was delicious.
