Amazing gf menu! The pulled pork is delicious. I just wish they didn’t get rid of the grits.

I ordered from the gf menu and advised I had celiac. I used a nima sensor on the bbq pork, brisket, ribs and mashed potatoes and the test said it had gluten. ☹☹ The manager apologized, but couldn’t figure where the gluten came from so I didn’t eat.

There is an issue with cross contamination in the kitchen as well as many unknown sources of gluten in the ingredients for the bbq sauce/glazes.

On another note: My wife ordered a salad with a grilled chicken breast on it. It looked really delicious, but the chicken wasn’t cooked all the way through (raw on the inside). They offered to make it again, but since I couldn’t eat there we decided to leave.

I wanted to love this place. They have a huge GF menu and our waitress was knowledgeable. However, when I used my Nima sensor (nimasensor.com) to test for gluten, the brisket, ribs, pulled pork and the mashed potatoes came back with gluten found in separate tests. We also ordered a salad, which came out with chicken with pink in the middle on the thick slices. The concept is great. The people are nice. The food looked beautiful. But unfortunately, we had to leave without eating because it was unsafe.

They're quality went steeply down hill after they first opened. Also, they may have gluten-free but they have had a hard time catering to any other food allergies. I'm also allergic to eggs and dairy, so with only one safe side dish (rice with cilantro all through it) and one, maybe two entrées that were safe, this place quickly stopped being worth the frustration for me.

We found this place by accident. What a special treat to find a place that actually had gluten free bread and buns! I didn't even have to use my own bread I brought along....... Which I carry everywhere with me! The atmosphere was nostalgic with a downtime feel. We absolutely loved it! They need to make this a national franchise! Way to go Double Wide Grill! Thank you so much!
