El Arroyo is a unique TexMex restaurant in Austin with a fun atmosphere. El Arroyo is very knowledgable about accommodating a gluten-free diet. The chips & salsa are both gluten-free. I ordered beef fajitas with corn tortillas, rice, refried beans, and a margarita. I have Celiac Disease and did not get sick eating at El Arroyo. I highly recommend El Arroyo in Austin, TX.

The fajita meat is NOT gluten free! Even though they don't add soy sauce themselves, wherever they get their meat from already marinates them with soy sauce. This is true of both chicken and beef. Instead, I ended up ordering the enchiladas which were quite good. Unfortunately, my friend found a piece of chicken bone in his enchiladas so what would be a four-star review became a one-time star review.

Very good! The manager was Nice and brought me a gluten free menu. Good was really yummy!
