The pizza was expensive, bland, tasted awful and they made it wrong! I called to let the manager know that it was wrong and that it didn't taste good; he was apologetic, nice, said he'd call me back and never did. Bad food and bad customer service.
Good not great pizza. Dough made offsite and they put on clean plate to go through oven rather than on rack. Toppings pretty clear so obvious they don't contain gluten. GF pizzas are 12". Friendly service - nice to change tv to a football game we cared about
Best GF crust ever & I've tried many! A little thicker than normal GF & crispy. Available in two sizes. Waitress came out three times after I placed my order to check/verify ingredients with me. Hope to return before I head home. Other 3 family members liked their normal pizza just as much.
Was a super busy night everyone was waiting an hour and a half to 2 hours for a pizza, we came from 6 flags and was starving for their lack of gf options, drove 15 minutes here, not the best crust for gf but the staff assures us they bake and cut it in a separate pan, overall the crust was crispy thin style if ur starving a good fairly safe place to eat
I have celiac disease so I was nervous about trying the gluten free pizza. I grilled the person taking my order over the phone. They work hard to minimize the risk of cross contamination. I enjoyed the LARGE gluten free pizza. I've eaten here twice and will eat here again.
I ordered their gluten free pizza with railroad grade toppings. It was a thicker crust...surprised me because most gluten free crusts are so thin. Only problem was that it soaked up the pizza sauce and tasted almost dry. Next time I will ask for extra sauce. Otherwise it was good and I didn't get sick!
GF pizza was available, but the quality was very low. My daughter has celiac and could barely finish a slice. Those of us who were non GF were also Extremely disappointed in the quality of the food. Decent place to go for a drink but I would not recommend eating here to anyone GF or not.
Hit and miss! I've had 3 gf pizzas in total from Extreme. First was delicious, and no reactions, second two were not the best and neither was my stomach after. Perhaps cross contamination needs to be looked into and consistency in the pizza. Shame as I thought first time I was going to be a customer for life.
I am not sure what the last two reviewers are on about. I can't stand the Udi's crust that most pizza places use (like Domino's). This was considerably better. I wouldn't say its the best GF crust I have had (which was in Portland) but it's far better than the average fair.
They have an allergen list posted on the glass of the food preparation area, listing all of the pitas and their allergens. However this does not mean you can get an allergen-free pita. You can only get the ingredients of the pita in a salad. Too bad the sign doesn't say this and the employees were even confused.
I gave it one star because zero stars wasn't an option. The gluten free pizza was the worst pizza we have ever tried to eat... Gluten free or not. The calzone my granddaughter ordered she only ate the filling because the crust was terrible. And my GF Greek salad was lettuce with some black olives red onions feta cheese and balsamic vinaigrette . Completely unforgettable. Wouldn't order from here again.
I've (stupidly) ordered from Extreme Pizza several times. Unfortunately, I have had a gluten reaction every time but once (one of those was one of the worst I have ever had). I've finally forced myself to stop cold turkey and I've moved on to frozen pizza. If your goal is reduced gluten, this might work...
I really enjoy the pizza here, and I haven't had any issues with my pizza over the years. They share the same oven, but have separate prep materials, slicers, etc. When I explain I am a celiac, they usually try to put my pizza in the oven on its own, and are very understanding and helpful. I super appreciate quality pizza I can eat!
Here on vacation at the hotel and the family craving some pizza. I check my gluten free phone app and this spot pops up. We were there late and ended up walking in at 15 min to close. They were cool about it but had to take it to go, fine by us. GF crust was decent, comes in 12". Pizzas were good, we regretted the type we ordered but it was still good. Lots of nice toppings and creations. Service was quick and the staff seemed friendly.
Interesting flavored pizza crust...tastes a bit earthy. my family liked it but I really think it could use some work.
My daughter was recently diagnosed with celiac disease and we tried Extreme Pizza's gluten-free pizza. It was delicious! My other children loved it too! We have both eaten in the restaurant and had it delivered. They managers were very attentive to ensuring safe handling of the food so no cross-contamination occurred.
The gluten free crust is excellent and the pizza delicious; however, my gluten-free pizza was delivered to the table almost 10 minutes after the regular pizza. That was uncomfortable for all concerned. The quality of the food would have earned 5 stars if not for that.
Gross. I was excited because it's thicker and softer than most gluten-free pizza, but it just tasted weird. Not as bad as the gluten-free pizza of 5+ years ago, but it was super overpriced and we threw almost the whole thing away. I didn't get sick at least. Thankfully I ordered a salad so I didn't starve.
Not safe for celiacs... staff has little to no idea what gluten actually is or about cross-contamination.
Fast, hot and yummy! We had Paia and Yardbird, Yardbird definately better
