Place appears to be permanently closed. High school there now. So disappointed.
If you have celiac disease, you MUST go to Ferrara's. It is absolutely a dream come true. I am in heaven every time I eat there, because it is the only restaurant that I can feel relaxed at and not feel like I have to be a "defensive diner." Every item I have ordered on their menu is fantastic. The staff is very knowledgeable and careful not to cross-contaminate. One time, a waitress was careful enough to get refills of drinks for me and my boyfriend separately, so that our drinks would not get switched and I would not accidentally drink out of his straw, because he's not gluten-free. Who else does that!?
Not only do they have a gluten free menu, it is a full, real , Celiac dream come true Menu ! They don't just pull everything that happens to be naturally gluten free from the regular menu and claim they cater to Celiacs -- they actually have REAL FOOD that is GLUTEN FREE and DELICIOUS ! And SAFE. Not just a GF pasta , but ravioli, garlic bread, Davey Dogs ( hot dogs wrapped in dough--so yummy ! ) , Pannini, Personal Pan specialty pizzas ( LUV the chicken BBQ ! ) you NAME it. I thought died and went to heaven when we first discovered this wonderful place when we moved to this area. People also come here from two hours away and then take bags of stuff home. Not a place like this even in a big city -- it's just amazing . I cannot rave enough about it. They also have a loyalty reward program -- do the value is tremendous. Add the great staff who are always friendly and do their very best. If you are Celiac , or have Celiac friend Or relative , you cannot pass up FERRARAS -- it's about an 50 minute drive north from Cranberry Twp, ,a bit further from Pittsburgh . Right next to Sharon , Hermitage , near Mercer. BTW their regular menu items are wonderful for those non- celiacs.
Absolutely amazing gluten free menu. I buy a lot and freeze it and then pull it out when I want it and it still taste amazing!!
Will try again, may I got them on a bad day!!
We've been there twice, terrific menu and helpful staff. The alfredo sauce is really good, the red sauce ok, and the meatballs are good but they taste like the rice bread crumbs. The gluten free bread is not good, very dry. The pizza was pretty good. It was really nice to be able to order a full meal and not worry . They get a lot of gluten free/celiac people and know what they're doing! I really like their pasta, I don't know what kind it is, I couldn't get the staff to tell me!
Had gluten free bruschetta, bread was soggy but tasted okay. Also had a calzone for the first time in my life. Extensive GF menu.
Great food and helpful staff!
Absolutely the best gluten free restaurant!!! So many option. I like that the gluten free is so good that my family doesn't mind getting a gf appetizer. 5 stars!
Well worth the 5 mile diversion off I80. GF Pizza, pasta, calzones, panini, etc. The food is delicious and the portions are large for a great price.
