Out of state and had dinner at Fiddlehead. What a delight! Nice vibe, friendly, celiac aware staff. All fried items done in gluten-free fryers, sauces all gf. I had fried shrimp for the first time since diagnosis. It was wonderful!

Waiter said they are allergy friendly and all the breading and fried items are GF. Food was decent. Check their hours. Burgers available with GF bun. FMGF app said they were closed but they were actually open.

Great waitress and experience. Loved the bacon blue cheese chip appetizer! Fried perch was ok, not worth $25 and a huge portion. Truffle fries are a must! My gluten eating family loved the MacDaddy burgers!

We stopped for dinner tonight. They are open and thriving. They have gf bread for sandwiches and burgers and several entree selections. My husband had the ribs, and I had the 1/2 roasted chicken. Everything was delicious!

This place was great. Over half of their menu is GF and they have dedicated fryers, just very conscious of people with food sensitivity as well as very environmentally conscious as well. Staff was AWESOME. Ask for Vince, he makes the best flourless cake there. Can’t wait to go back.

This restaurant is outstanding! There were so many gf options and our food was delicious with no after effects. Our server Alex was knowledgeable and attentive. Every question I asked was answered courteously and with confidence about food safety for celiac restrictions. The favorite items we had were: perch plate, sweet potato tator tots, firecracker burger, and an order of ribs and salad to go. Absolutely will go here again when I'm in the area. Thanks for the outstanding experience!

Absolutely excellent. This is a shared kitchen, but staff completely understood what precautions were needed for someone with Celiac Disease to dine safely. Our waitress Christina was super helpful, explained that everything fried is battered using cornstarch so the fryer is dedicated, and when I started to ask about protocol and changing gloves her response was, “Of course!” and she listed the rest of the precautions they take. The chef even brought the food out to us by request. If you are dairy free, they have options and are very flexible to work with you. 98% of the menu, with modifications, can be made gluten free. I can’t remember the last time I had fried pickles. SO. GOOD.

They aren’t open as of 6/4/22. “Closed for renovations” according to the sign on the door. They don’t have any notification of this on their voicemail.

My waitress was knowledgeable about the gf options, and while waiting for our food, I heard 4 others asking about gf food. I was extremely happy to have a burger with fries. The bun was 2 slices of bread, but it stayed together well. Gf pasta dishes were also an option. Two hours later, and I'm still fine.

I’ve eaten here several times and have never been sickened. That’s something coming from me, a super-sensitive Celiac! My favorite is the lake perch with sweet potato tots. Their burgers are also excellent, though be aware they’re served on GF toast. It makes a bit of a mess. Can’t wait to go back!

I got the Mother Clucker chicken sandwich with gluten free bread. The bread was phenomenal. Also the mix of flavors on the sandwich were perfect. Bacon tomato jam was a huge plus for me!
They do offer outdoor seating that you can sit with your dogs, but during to an impending storm, outdoor seating was closed so we took it to go. Even taking the food out, presentation was perfect and the front host was super helpful in answering my questions.
Highly recommend. Will go back (without the dogs so we can sit inside).

We ordered a burger, and the Gluten Free bread was amazing. Normally we only eat the bread that helps bring the food to our mouth, but it was so good we made sure there weren't any scraps. They also have a delicious amaretto cheesecake that is Gluten Free. I would highly recommend going to Fiddlehead if you are visiting the area. Plus it's right next to the outlet mall

Traveling with Celiac Disease means that meals are generally pre-planned and pit stops are rare because my diet must be strictly gluten free, making me apprehensive of most restaurants. In this case, my mom and I are glad that we made an exception when we stopped off on our way from Chicago to Michigan. To make things brief: this restaurant had the very best gluten-free food I have ever had, and an incredible grass-fed burger as well. The fryer there is dedicated (entirely gluten free) and the fries were exceptional, perfectly crispy, which helped us understand why one of the appetizers is simply a bucket of fries. I had the Hipster, a spicy pulled pork sandwich, and the waiter recommended bangin' sauce for the fries. The receipt had a clearly marked allergy warning, which made us feel good about the food we just ate. They also offered vegan options. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone and would return if ever in the area again. It was worth going several miles off the highway as it was located in a quaint area of town surrounded by art installations and vibrant flowers. The atmosphere was lovely, and the doorway was surrounded by black-and-white photographs of the owner's military and police family members, which made us feel at home as a military family ourselves. The waitstaff was personable and wonderful. They were immediately familiar with the word Celiac and reassured me instantly that the fryer was dedicated before I even asked. It was clear that the waiter understood the accommodations necessary for my disease. The gluten free bread was soft and not grainy at all (as it sometimes can be). We were so grateful to have found this hidden gem.

Excellent about gluten free. I’m also dairy free. They are understanding about this condition too.
