Had a lettuce wrapped burger. They checked for allergy or preference to make sure new gloves and safe work space was used. The head chef even designated one employee to handle my food and asked her to move it further away from other food being prepared. Best GF experience I've had in a while!

Yes
Burgers ordered without the bun and the French fries are gluten free. I had caramelized onions & mushrooms, mayo, lettuce, and tomato on my burger. French fries are the only thing fried there so both the Cajun and regular fries are safe!! I asked for my burger to be made using clean gloves and I left without getting sick! My kids love five guys, my kids order hotdogs and they have peanuts out on the tables to eat.
Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
