Wonderful food with an array of gluten free options and a gluten free menu! I am both gluten free and dairy free and had lots of options. Highly recommended.

** Edit *** I threw up all night from my fish and chips. Though my son was fine from tacos. Changed from 5 star to 1 ***************************** We had wonderful service and food was great. My celiac son had the seafood tacos, deep fried calamari (dedicated gf fryer) and I (celiac) had fish and chips. It all tasted great.

Despite their GF menu, dedicated fryer and knowledgeable staff, I got sick from their GF food. Not sure if it’s all a ruse or if something was swapped but I had a reaction from eating gluten. Ordered the fish & chips and a tuna melt. The bread on the sandwich was definitely gluten free (small, probably Canyon Bakehouse) and I did ask about a separate toaster but I still got sick. My husband who ate the same thing did not get sick so it was not foot poisoning, just gluten.

They have a ton of GF options and a full gf menu. They have a dedicated fryer! I haven’t had calamari at a restaurant in sooo long and it was delicious along with the gf focaccia table bread. The wait staff was knowledgeable and helpful, she even warned me to only eat bread that comes on a plate, basket bread is not gf. I got the GF lobster BLT with lobster bisque, delicious!

Our meal was outstanding at Flaherty’s. Our daughter has Celiac and was thrilled to discover that almost all the menu items could be prepared Gluten Free. They have a dedicated fryer and are super knowledgeable of Celiac and food allergies. We highly recommend Flaherty’s and will certainly return!!!

It was delicious. Angela assured me they could make most of the menu gluten free. I had the fish and chips, my better half had the paella. They were both good, and they use a separate GF fryer.
4 star safety for me because only time I give 5 stars is at an entirely dedicated gf restaurant.

Fabulous dinner for GF diners and the rest of my family who are not! The restaurant has a GF menu- some of the options include- fried calamari, crab cakes, soups, salads, fish-n-chips, seafood paella. I had the fish-n-chips. They were light and flaky, with the best tartar sauce and Cole slaw. This was a wonderful meal!

So great that we came back the next day and brought our GF friends! Food was delicious and safely-prepared. “All-day GF” menu very handy, plenty of excellent choices. We had the Crab Louis Melt, Seafood Tacos, Crab & Artichoke Quesadilla, Fish & Chips, Crab Cakes, NE Clam Chowder (what a treat to find that GF!) and more! Dedicated GF fryer, gluten-knowledgeable staff. Team was super-friendly and helpful in making choices. Highly recommend!

I was very excited about this place but ended up disappointed. They have an amazing gluten free menu and said they have a dedicated fryer. Unfortunately, I got quite sick after eating here. I think they gave me the gluten-full soup. The food was delicious and I think it is possible to have a safe experience here but it’s a gamble in my opinion.

The GF calamari was great, but the fish and chips not so great. The GF breadcrumb coating on the fish was not crisp, maybe not even fully cooked. The waitress seemed knowledgeable about the GF menu but didn't seem to know about other ingredients. When I asked her about whether items contained dairy (I'm lactose intolerant), she shrugged and said, "I don't think so." It was only after I insisted she ask the cook that she came back with an answer.

Found this restaurant from this app. Walked in and Sandra immediately put us at ease, understood and could explain the menu and what was safe for my daughter who has Celiac and a peanut allergy. My daughter loved the gluten free fish and chips and said the fries were some of the best she has had. We felt at ease eating here and really enjoyed the experience.
Sandra confirmed their gluten free fish and chips are prepared in a separate fryer. No cross contamination. They also served a gluten free focaccia bread.
Five hours later, no reaction. My daughter gets violently ill from gluten so our take was this was a safe restaurant for her and one we would return to in the future.

She listened carefully, made recommendations and advised me on how she could accommodate all of my concerns. The food was delicious and Sandra’s care truly made the experience exceptional.

From beginning to end, they knew how to make sure that I had a wonderful meal. They have a dedicated gluten free menu and have been doing gluten free since 2008. We started with NE clam chowder which was amazing, flavorful and chunky. Next up was the oysters on the half shell that my hubby ate with the horseradish and cocktail sauce while opted for the light shallot sauce and a squeeze of lemon - they were so fresh and briney. Then, crab cakes that were on a bed of slaw, had a side of corn salsa and a spicy sauce. Together, it was a perfect bite. We finished off the meal with the crab and artichoke quesadilla which was actually 4 large corn tortillas stuffed to the gils served with beans, a masa cake, sour cream, salsa, and avocado. It's been forever since I last had a flavorful quesadilla, and this one did not disappoint. My husband can eat gluten, but did not miss it anywhere.

Clam chowder was fine and GF. Repeatedly assured that fried dishes are in dedicated fryer.
Ordered fried oysters, which were grimy and foul and we immediately reacted badly. Given our symptoms a few hours later, definitely cross contaminated if not worse.
Manager was dismissive and offended in response to our complaints, although comp’d our appetizer. We cancelled out entrées and left.

Went here for lunch specifically because they can make things gluten free. They have a dedicated area for GF items including a dedicated fryer. I love French fries but they aren’t often GF so when I get them I’m pretty excited about it! We requested the GF crab cakes but they were out of them. I ordered the fish and chips. They were really good. The fish wasn’t battered like normal fish and chips but Dredged in GF flours. It was really, really good. It was fresh and tasty. The fries were very good too. They had a GF menu and outdoor dining. I have eaten there before a few years ago but forgot about it until we got there and I remembered the place. I didn’t have a reaction to the food.

We were craving some seafood and had a fantastic meal here. They have a separate gluten free menu with tons of options—literally a full menu. They also have a dedicated fryer and the wait staff was very knowledgeable and even the servers wore single use gloves, which I was happy to see. My daughter is Celiac and was able to have fried calamari and one of the best fish and chips I’ve ever tasted—all with no issues. We also had the crab stuffed quesadilla, crab salad and even an amazing raspberry cake for dessert—all gluten free. We’re already planning our next meal here.

Gluten found according to the Nema sensor, tested twice. This was after we talked to a manager who insisted that our plane pan seared salmon, with steamed vegetables would be totally safe. Nima sensor detected gluten, and we tested it twice to confirm. Bringing our takeout food back to the restaurant, the manager insisted that this wasn’t possible because they take tons of precautions, and tried to argue with me. We ended up getting the clam chowder instead. That Newman tested fine. But the manager should take the Numa sensor information more seriously. Avoid this if you were celiac.

Be aware...We ordered an appetizer, and asked for it gluten free (without bread on top). But, when it came out there was bread on top, and they mentioned that it was gluten free bread, but it was not! Even though that did happen, they were very sorry and took ownership. We suggest that you make sure that your food is gluten free when it arrives. But, there was no cross contamination with any of our other food. Knowledgeable, but please be aware here! I would not avoid based on our experience, but just be aware...
Some of the food was a bit dry and overcooked.

Gluten free fried calamari is as delicious as anywhere compared to the gluten version. The GF fish and chips and clam chowder are good as well. I’d say the best dish is the calamari however. I’d give it a 10/10 and the others a 8/10 in taste.
