Built my bowl, put the allergy sticks in it, waited 40 minutes for my food...that arrived with a big tortilla plopped on top of the dish. Server seemed confused as to why this was a problem. Not cool, had to remake my dish while my dining companion ate alone. I mean, c'mon.

Friend and I are both have different allergies. We used the white stick (cook separately) and "somehow" ended up with some of each others food and other peoples food in our dishes.
We were allowed to make another bowl and there was no cost for our lunch, but both of us felt sick for the rest of the day.

Excellent options for allergies. All allergens are clearly marked. You are also able to have your food cooked in a separate pan to avoid cross contamination.
Yes
Great food. Everything is clearly marked GF with plenty of options. They even had GF noodles.
The server was rather attentive. The beef was poor quality or old. I am concerned about cross contamination. I would request food from the kitchen if I were to return.
This place was great!!! The food was amazing, and the staff went above and beyond to answer any questions I had. It wasn't clearly marked which noodles were GF but after asking they brought me a separate chart of what was safe. There is a TON of cross contamination on the food line, but they were more than willing to bring fresh stuff out to me! I would recommend this place just be cautious of CC.
Wonderful...really fantastic. They are allergen-friendly, which is a rarity when it comes to chain restaurants. I eat low-FODMAP (which includes avoiding gluten), so I have to avoid certain veggies, spices, and fruits getting in my food.
Because I can choose my own ingredients and also request it is all cooked up in a separate wok, I am happy to report that I have *never* had any horrible side effects from eating there. And....the food is delicious!! :) HIGHLY recommended. :)

Easy to avoid gluten. Sauces clearly marked.
Great gluten free options. Waitress had a list of good gluten free options and was very helpful.
my favorite restaurant to eat at! you can get lots of food for cheap. you can choose gluten free sauces & opt to have your food cooked in a separate wok to avoid cross-contamination. they have delicious rice noodles as well!
I always ask for my food to be prepared in a wok to prevent contamination but still seem to get sick after eating at Flat Top.
My absolute favorite stir fry place!
Everything marked if GF or not Separate prep area for food allergies

My friend took us here and I didn’t get sick at all—but I felt quite nervous. You make your own bowls “salad bar/buffet” style which is a recipe for cross-contamination. (And nothing is labeled for gluten at the bar or on the physical menu either). When they stir-fried my ingredients I had a small allergen stick that directed them to cook it on a clean, separate surface and I’m sure that’s what happened. The real concern is the buffet setup.

Even the manager couldn't tell me what protocol they had in place to try and prevent cross contamination, and told me it wasn't safe for me to eat there. Everything was made from a buffet, and ingredients were spilled and splashed everywhere. Would not recommend.

I ordered the make your own bowl where you basically add ingredients to your bowl from a buffet line of ingredients. After that, if you want proteins or meats, they add an allergy tag and cook that in a separate area. I have celiac and feel pretty safe.

Staff was knowledgeable about what had gluten. Only one sauce contains wheat supposedly. Had a way to mark your order so it was made in a separate clean spot. Rice noodles and white rice available plusses of meats and veggies.
