Food was Divine. Reminded me of the food during our trip to Rome. We'll be back!

We rented a house in canyon lake area during spring break to continue social distancing but wanted to support this local
Establishment. They are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays so we went for lunch on Westin our way out of town . They do ask that you wear a mask when not seated at your table (if that is important to you either way)
I asked about the various sauces and was told basically all sauces were GF including the Alfredo sauce. I asked if they make their own GF pizza dough and was told yes but that it is made in a shared space and they couldn’t guarantee no cc. I ordered. A salmon dish that they were out of. This place apparently gets insanely busy on sundays and they hadn’t yet gotten their food order in. So I went with steak medallions, shrimp and pasta. All was delish except the shrimp, it needed just a tad longer to cook. The last was tender and the steak was juicy. The sauce was amazing.
My gluten eating husband and teen also enjoyed their meals (one had pizza and the other had ravioli, also the bread they bring out smelled amazing and my husband and kid ate two baskets full).

I really enjoy the quality and love they put into their food! It's a fantastic dining experience and they also offer ordering for pick up as well. Try the Fiorentina with the risotto!
Nice environment, nice wait staff, gf knowledgeable it seemed like. My celiac daughter ordered the gf pasta with meat sauce. We did get bread at the table but we kept it separate from her. She had been fun and busy and happy all day, as soon as we were leaving she started getting tummy cramps. By the time we were in the car her face was flushed red and her tummy still hurt. I called the restaurant to ask my questions and make sure they cooked it in its own water. The manager came to the phone and apologized, he said the waiter should’ve alerted the kitchen and then a manager to come talk to us at the table. He was not alerted and didn’t come to the table but did seem to tell the kitchen as it was announced to be gf when it came to the table. He did tell us to ask for a manager next time we come in but we aren’t sure it’s worth the risk. I really appreciate his explanation so the manager hisself gets 4.5 stars. The restaurant gets 3 for over all training.
Amazing food & excellent wait staff! We have eaten here several times as a gluten free family & have never been glutened.
I haven't been to such nice restaurants as I have today ,and yesterday, in Canyon Lake TX. I will review the other restaurant separately. The whole experience was far above and beyond my expectations. Truly, I haven't felt this way in a restaurant since I was a young girl- before chains and prepackaged 'everything' came around. The selections were varied, the prices were beyond fair, the service was over the top FANTASTIC , the gluten free options were really good ones - the quality was spot on. As a table we had vegetarians, gf people and a young, picky eater... every one of us left happy, satisfied and praising the wonderful meal/experience that we had. They have GF penne, chicken, seafood and plenty available for those of us who can't tolerate gluten. We got appetizers, salads, entrees, special drinks, dessert and coffee. I have not one complaint.
DO NO GO HERE EXPECTING SEPARATE CHECKS. They do not do separate checks. The only accommodation they will make is to split the total bill for an entire table into equal halves.
Really good food, but we did have a mild reaction.
Yes
Great food and they do understand how important accurate G.F. information really is.
