GF options but risky of cross contamination high
— Gluten-free items are marked on the main menu
— Not Much
— Good
Both entrees listed in previous reviews are NOT gluten free. I’m confused. There are a few gluten free options.
It's always exciting for me to have a meal out and one that is tasty and not picked apart to accommodate my allergies. Gray's was a wonderful treat. The server knew exactly what could be modified if needed but the menu was also clearly marked with several appetizer and entree GF selections. I had the beef short ribs served with red rice and bok choy. The dish had so much flavor and the meat just melted in my mouth. I don't normally get an appetizer as it's hard for me to even eat an entire entree but I was out of town with my girlfriends and feeling good. I ordered the GF bacon wrapped stuffed dates. They were delicious too! Gray's is an old 1920's pharmacy converted to a restaurant. It has much character. We ate upstairs where at 9pm on the weekends they have live music.
Great food and great options. The menu is marked with GF options (if memory serves correct). The waitress was very knowledgeable when I informed her that I actually have the allergy and advised they take precautions to prevent cross contamination. The menu over all was impressive and they even have a GF dessert option. I wish I recall more but was on a business trip and visited several places.
Yes
Although they do not have a GF menu the hostess had a server speak to us who was quite knowledgeable. Not a ton of choices but what I did choose was superb! I had shrimp and grits with collard greens. Mark was very attentive and helpful. Good find.
