All entire menu is gluten-free except some tacos (they have a sauce teriyaki). I liked so much

NEW: They now use WHEAT FLOUR tortillas for breakfast burritos. Wheat flour tortillas are prepared on the same grill as the GF corn tortillas. The website has not been updated to reflect this new gluten ingredient and is misleading about GF items in the kitchen. Guisados chain is not allergen aware and no longer safe for Celiacs. Sad because the tacos were really good!

Have eaten here dozens of times and it always goes well. The shrimp taco and tamales have gluten and nothing else. I see that this place is getting bad reviews for cross contamination but so far they’ve been accommodating to me and I think it’s a superb & convenient gf option.

Not safe for celiacs. High chance of cross contamination as your tacos are grilled next to glutenous food. If you aren’t sensitive I guess it is worth a try.

Man, I hate that I have to say this because I was genuinely hopeful based on reviews. After having a lengthy conversation with the cashier who assured me there was no risk of cross-contact, I watched a cook throw the sole gf-containing menu item (the shrimp) on the grill right next to the fish I had just ordered and used the same spatula to flip both. No idea if I would have been glutened, but there is no way I am coming back simply because they’re too lax on safety. Not worth the risk.

This place tasted great but I’m pretty sure my family of 3 all had slight gluten reactions. We went when it was really busy and when I asked about making sure everything was GF the cashier was a little confused. Eat at your own risk, but it was pretty delicious!

Absolutely amazed! The tacos came back safe on my Nima and were absolutely delicious. I also got a lemon lime aqua Fresca that I highly recommend. My husband had a melon one the cashier suggested and it was yummy too. These were real tacos which is something I haven’t found in a while and I could eat them! My brother who is a picky eater really liked his chorizo and steak picado tacos, my husband had the hottest pepper one on the menu and was pleasantly surprised since he was someone who loves spice. My pork and steak ones were fantastic and the tortillas were like I was back home in Chicago. I hope we come back when we come to town next.

The staff were very helpful, menus clear about what is not gluten free, the shrimp tacos. The tacos were incredible; looks like handmade corn tortillas—good quality food and I didn’t have any issues. I would definitely return!

Have celiac. Ate here. As other states, shrimp has soy sauce and is cooked separately from other items. Had the calabacitas, hongos, frijoles and ceviche tacos without any reaction. Horchata too! :)
Yes
Very safe. All tortillas are house made 100% corn. They DO have one taco that has teriyaki with soy and if not GF but that’s it.
Also the tacos are WOW UNBELIEVABLE. Don’t skip the chorizo. It was the best I’ve ever had.

Been here many times without issue.

Some of the tastiest tacos in the USA! Really, really good thick corn tortillas. The paper menu has fine print noting that aside from Teriyaki Shrimp and the "occasional special," everything they have and use is gluten-free. Pro-tip: check Dodgers home game schedule before going, it can get busy. :-)

Works only with corn tortillas. The only thing that contains gluten is the soy sauce that comes with the shrimp, so looks safe for us celiacs. Great service and very quick.

Lots of options and they are happy to explain which options are gluten free. You order at the counter upon arrival and they go over all their different choices.

They specify what dishes (if any) contain gluten. All tacos on corn tortillas and you cannot beat the prices! So worth it!
Amazing!! Four vegetarian taco options, no gluten on the regular menu (though apparently specials may possibly have gluten), and fabulous handmade tortillas.
The chiles toreados taco is the hottest thing I've ever eaten and I LOVED it!!

So good! Fresh corn tacos! Very knowledgeable staff.

Great tacos with knowledgable staff on allergies

It's HARD to find a Mexican restaurant that mentions GF and has vegetarian options. This one checks both options. I felt confident in their GF claim because they specifically note which options are NOT GF, including one that seems to include soy sauce. If a restaurant declares it's soy sauce, I feel good about it. I didn't ask any questions about CC.
