This restaurant has changed and no longer offers anything other than tacos. The service is terrible. It should not be featured here.

Agree with the last 2 reviews. When Gus's first opened my Mom and I had a fabulous gluten free feast. When I went back I was so disappointed. The door was unlocked but no one was inside. We were told to sit down. No one wanted to wait on us. After some time and hearing some fussing/slamming things from the kitchen, only then we were told they weren't open but they would cook for us anyway. We declined and said we would return another time. When we returned another day there was nothing good left on the menu. Everything we ordered was so greasy and soggy, the grease alone hurt my stomach. Nothing tasted good and none of the waffle buns, dessert, gnocchi, nothing... was there.

Agree with Stacy. What a disappointment. It used to be a good place for GF dining, but no longer. It shouldn't be on this list.

Was on vacation and very much looking forward to gluten free deep fried pickles among other delicious options listed on the website. Arrived to the restaurant at 3:30 (well within the listed hours online) and it was locked. Come to find out the place opens at 4 and the kitchen at 5. Decide to head to our hotel room until the kitchen opened. When we arrived a second time we are presented with a menu listing only tacos as an option. No deep fried pickles. No waffle bun burgers. No delicious desserts. Just tacos. When asking the waiter about the pickles he replied, "I understand if it's a deal breaker". We sadly ended up leaving to go to another restaurant-very disappointed!

Gus's Café rocks GF! The food was flavorful and enjoyable! Servers are informed and will ask questions if they don't know. Atmosphere is upbeat and funky. I ate fried pickles, fries, coleslaw, a burger, and taco tater tots. It's so exciting to have a GF restaurant with dedicated kitchen space and a fryer! I will be returning!

My absolute favorite GF place in the city. Tempura pickles are incredible, but they have awesome GF specials everyday.

They have an amazing almost entirely gluten free menu!! I have eaten her quite a few times now and can say with confidence that it's a great experience every time. The burgers are fantastic and they offer the choice of 2 different gluten free buns. I would recommend Gus's without hesitation!

So, so, so good! Subbed out the bun on my burger with a gf waffle and got an order of the best fries (from a dedicated fryer) I've had in forever. The place wasn't too loud, service was attentive, and the food was great.

Great place that is designed for the GF crowd. Even GF beers are available. Relatively new, this place has a number of great options with most of them being tasty wraps. The wrap is a nice fluffy GF version if your classic tortilla.
