Now named Harpoons on the Bay, there are many GF options labeled on the menu. There is no dedicated fryer but the staff is well informed.The food was good and they kept me safe. Definitely worthwhile to visit.

Ok. So Harpoon’s has been renovated and their menu updated. There are more menu items that are indicated gf. I had a delicious meal and did not get sick. We always go here at least once because the bay and sunset are not to be missed. And I do feel like I can find something to eat…the gf menu options are an improvement over what it used to be. And our server seemed pretty knowledgeable. Glad they are upping their gf game, because that sunset over the bay can’t be missed if you are in Cape May!

Staff super knowledgeable but other reviews on here said gf fryer for fries and I trusted it. Luckily waitress told me they aren’t. Very good food! Just speak up and make sure to tell them you have an allergy if celiac 😊

I got a hamburger with a gf bun with fries. It was one of the best burgers I have had, and I am picky with burgers. They have a dedicated fryer for their fries and sweet potato fries. There aren’t a ton of options gf but if you are in the mood for broiled seafood or a burger this is a great option.

No dedicated gf menu, but menu indicates gf bun available. Wait staff was knowledgeable about what was gf or not. Fries in dedicated fryer.

This is now called Harpoons on the Bay and there are amazing sunsets to see in the evening from the dining areas. My scallops were delicious and my husband's wings were excellent but his ribs were dry (they did give us a discount). GF menu was limited and no guarantee there wouldn't be cross contamination. No dedicated fryer. They do offer a few GF beers and a cider. There was a live band and the atmosphere was lively and loud.

Waitstaff seemed knowledgeable and consciousness. Wings were grilled not fried and we're wonderful.

Wings are great. Separate GF menu. Burgers, but only one other GF sandwich. GF menu is a bit limited.
