Thw waitress was well informed and there was a GF menu. HOWEVER, not Celiac friendly. My excitement for GF pancakes was shut down due to them being cooked on non-GF griddle. Same goes for bacon, home fries, etc. Best option. is and I'm let and some grits.

They do have gf pancakes which I was excited about. Unfortunately they were not dairy free for those of you with dairy allergies as well. I ended up getting the bbq chicken sandwich (without bread). Very nice portion sizes. The waitress was knowledgeable about gf and df and made sure to let me know the coleslaw was vinegar based.

Do they have a GF menu? Yeah. But don't expect them to actually have the stuff. I came here twice on vacation(once on my birthday!!) and neither time did they have the pancakes, which was the only reason I came. If I wanted eggs, I could have gone anywhere else. I asked if I could have a discount b/c they were out of the only menu item I showed up for, and the response was, "did you call before you arrived? We don't offer discounts for any reason. But I can bring you out our delicious chocolate pudding!" So, I have to call to see if regular menu items are being offered? Really?? And thank you, chocolate is exactly what I want at 7:45AM after eating your greasy eggs and potatoes and subsequently throwing it up.

They were out of the gluten free pancakes on a Saturday. It's prominently featured on the menu so I was disappointed. Grits were good. Made with "just a little bit of butter." Should have asked how much that was. Monday follow-up: I called this morning to make sure they have it. "Yes we sure do!" Nope. They don't.

Went to breakfast with my boyfriend, the gf pancakes were amazing. I didn't get cross contaminated but the waitress did warn me that breakfast items were cooked on the same stove top.

Warned about some cross contamination, but had a designated menu with lots of options and a staff willing to help you. Really great.

Ordered the gluten-free pancakes because I've had trouble with grits and have found that the majority aren't actually completely GF (that was a surprise). The waitress asked if it was for an allergy and then informed me "there was cross contamination all over the place." I went ahead and got them because I felt a little stuck. They were a Awesome but I am experiencing some symptoms now. :(

They have a good GF menu. well versed staff. I had picked shrimp for an app and chicken lives with limbs beans for an entree. in Charleston for 3 weeks on work, and this is the best meal and the best I've felt after a week of dining here

Careful about advising us by recommending stuff not cooked on the flat top where they may have cross contamination. Food for non-celiacs was awesome. Fried chicken was great. Gluten sensitive individuals can get omelets and grits which are safe from cross contamination

Told that there were many things on the gluten free menu, but that they were all cooked on the same grill as the non-gluten free items. Cross contamination fail.

Very good and very knowledgeable about GF needs. Warned me of cross contamination risk with pancakes (I still got them, just made sure they cleaned the grill before making them). Have a parking lot, which Is nice in downtown Charleston. Food was very good.

Mmmmmmm. Finding a restaurant that serves GF for breakfast is very hard. Hominy hit the spot by kids had the GF short stack pancakes and my dear husband and I has the marvelous shrimp and grits. Their lemonade was fresh squeezed. All in all, one fantastic experience. :-)
