Not overly friendly or acknowledging my son’s celiac. Food was ok, nothing stellar. No confident about cross contamination.

Let me start by saying that I will be eating here again; HOWEVER: you’re better off eating a frozen Udi’s muffin at home. The muffin was so bad it was laughable. The pancakes were just ok. I didn’t get sick, though, and that’s all I can really ask for š
2024 update: I went back once and got glutened. They’re super uninformed about cross contact and what does and does not contain gluten

I’ve eaten here a bunch of times and I thought it was fine. Apparently it wasn’t.
My waitress this time told me the waffles are made in a shared waffle maker and the syrup isn’t gluten free. She brought me a special bottle of syrup instead.
While I really appreciate this waitress, this place isn’t nearly as gluten free safe as they advertise.

We were told all the egg items are not gluten free. My husband has celiac and they said he could have a muffin or pancakes ā¦ but we ended up not trusting it and he didnāt eat.
I normally love a savory breakfast, but splurged as I’ve never had stuffed French toast. The waitress was awesome & even gave us recommendations for other places to eat nearby. I’m allergic to tree nuts & gluten & had no problems. The environment was a little more outdated than I was expecting but the food was worth it.

I’m here on vacation and brought gf bisquick, so I had pancakes at our condo two of the previous three days prior… and opted for the French toast. It was cooked perfectly, but the bread they used was a little odd - it had seeds on the outside/crust area and had just a slightly off flavor. With that said, I ate all three pieces… and the bacon I ordered extra crispy was fantastic. Service was great - super fast and checked in a lot but not obnoxious. I’d be interested in trying their gf pancakes another time. They also listed they had a gf blueberry muffin - which is the one type of muffin I’m not a fan of (but wanted to share for anyone else that is!)!

Delicious GF pancakes and French toast. We went there twice! My cousin has celiac and I am gluten sensitive and we both enjoyed our breakfast completely without getting sick. Our server, Sharon, was so kind and knowledgeable and even recommended not getting the Gf waffles because they are not made on a separate waffle iron. The GF items aren’t listed on the menu so you have to ask. If you go, make sure you ask for Sharon!

I have driven by and stopped a couple of times throughout the years. But my husband wanted eggs and bacon this morning, so while visiting the beach this morning, I thought I would give it a go. Our waitress, Ashley, did have a not so pleasant attitude and it concerned me a bit right off the bat, but I had read the reviews previously and was encouraged some. I ordered the french toast, blueberry muffin, and a cup of fruit. I did ask her to bring mine out separately and she did not, but praise the Lord, I did not get sick.

My celiac son had a “gluten free waffle” that I’m presuming now was a regular waffle. Within an hour of leaving, he was vomiting profusely and has barely moved the last few hours. Makes me sick how irresponsible these establishments are.

Food was okay, not super tasty. Only pancakes are really gluten free. Waffles are cooked on same iron as the ones with gluten. Will not come back!

I’ve eaten here three times now, anytime we’re in Myrtle Beach. I’ve always gotten an omelette with GF pancakes. So far so good. Just make sure to stress the importance of keeping everything separate. One time they brought all the food out together and a gluten full dish was stacked on part of mine and possible crumbs got on the plate. We suggested that they make sure to bring the GF food out separate like a lot of places do. Pancakes are dense but tasty.

Waitress was great, said don’t trust the waffles because they share cooking equipment with the gluten waffles. So I ordered one piece of French toast. Before I finished eating my stomach pain started and I had issues. Minor but still had issues. I never used to be overly sensitive to cross contamination but I guess in my old age I’m getting more sensitive. Either way in sadly not going back there.

I was happy to see that a few things were marked gluten free although the menu stated it is not for those with celiac. I took my chance though and didn’t get sick so that was good. I think my main reason for only 3 stars was the food compared to the price. Holy Moly! After tip we spent $50 for 2 of us to eat some eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and pancakes, 1 coffee and 1 OJ. 1 coffee and 1 OJ was almost $9!!! That’s insane! I have celiac and got 1 egg, bacon, hash browns and 1 GF pancake. It was ok. The pancake would have been much better and completely done if it had sat in the griddle/pan for another 1-2 minutes. It was still a little doughy. I only ate about 1/3 of it.
To me it was way over priced...more overpriced than other MB restaurants. Especially for just mediocre food.

Delicious pancakes. Had an omelette with hash browns too and no problem. There is a disclaimer that they do their best but can’t guarantee no cross contamination, and to be careful if you have celiac. I am celiac and felt fine but you may want to use your own discretion and ask about their practices.

BEST gluten free pancakes I've ever had!! I've gone multiple time and had no reaction (I'm super sensitive to gluten)
Staff was very knowledgeable. The GF menu legit only has 4 items but then virtually all of the eggs and omelet are GF as well. Eggs are cooked on separate cook top as confirmed by staff. Had GF pancakes - can tell they’re rice flour based but overall good. Highly recommend jalapeño egg scramble bowl, was fantastic. Overall great food for the price and had no issues.
Yes
They offer a gf menu. It doesn’t list every single thing that is gf, just the pancakes, waffle and French toast. We asked about eggs and potatoes and they are gf.

Gluten-free pancakes were absolutely amazing! Huge and crispy, better than any pancake I’ve ever made at home. Great friendly service too!

Gluten free French toast was awesome! Got the pancakes to try as well, not as good.
2 of us in our group of 20 are gluten free. I had the french toast which was very good. And the other had pancakes which he said were very good. Neither one of us had any problems. We will definitely be back next time we are in town.
I am a non-celiac gf and I enjoyed the gf french toast. The rest of the family was also quite happy with their breakfast.
We LOVE Hot Stacks! Great gluten free pancakes, great coffee. Natasha is a fabulous server. We always cone at least once while we're in Myrtle. Highly recommend.

The gf pancakes were amazing! I was able to request some yummy toppings similar to the other pancakes on the regular menu, so it felt like I was eating a regular meal just like my family. The portions are generous and I could only eat half. Delicious!
The pancakes here are to die for! Super knowledgeable on celiac as well and pretty good prices! I will definitely be back next time I’m in town.

Gluten free pancakes and Belgium waffles were great I didn't even need the syrup. Awesome will definitely return. Server Stephanie was amazing. Owner even told us all gluten free food was made on a separate grill.

The Gf waffle was wonderful!! Server was very knowledgeable. Can't wait to go back!
Got the GF French toast, eggs, and sausage. The waitress said they make GF items in a separate area of the kitchen. The food was pretty good but I started having GI problems a few hours later.
The waitress told me they cook the gluten free items in a separate area, including gluten free waffles on their own waffle iron. Waffles were great!!!

All you can have is pancakes or a muffin. Okay service. Okay food.
They had amazing GF pancakes!!! Our waiter was very helpful. I totally recommend it if you want a safe gluten free breakfast in Myrtle Beach.

I just ate there today with my family and 30 mins later I got sick. I wouldn’t recommend it. They claim to have a separate area for their gluten customers but they didn’t take any special care when I told them I have celiac. My waitress just wrote it down and told me it will be fine. If you have celiac DONT go here. If you’re gluten intolerant... take some glutenease with you or something. Very disappointed. Oh... and ... the food wasn’t that great.
No
We eat breakfast here every time we come to myrtle. I always get scrambled egg whites, ham or bacon, and the gf pancakes. In the 5 years I’ve been eating here I’ve never gotten sick.
