At register told they can't be sure if the seasonings on the meat are gluten free.

All meats are gluten free. Coleslaw is good. Fries are cooked in a shared fryer, as are the wings. The food is good...nothing outstanding.

Gluten Free in Gatlinburg is tough. Typically BBQ places can accommodate though some in-depth questioning is generally needed. Stopped by here after driving for many hours that day. The place was not crowded at the time which did help and is a very small local place. There is no GF menu, however the cook was able to come out and explain available options and answer questions. He was very knowledgeable of the ingredients and did clean/wash the work area - practically in plan view of the counter. Had the pulled pork dinner and 2 sides with the sweet sauce - good stuff. Some of the sauces are not GF and he specifically pointed these out.

My mom, boyfriend, and I stopped in on our way back to our resort after whitewater rafting. First, we waited ten minutes before anyone even attempted to take our order. When I asked about gluten free options, the guy at the register smirked at me and shook his head "No." We walked out without getting anything, so I can't say anything about the food, but the service was horrendous.

Very knowledgeable. Kind. And when I ordered something that had a by-product of gluten they suggested an alternate option.
