Not celiac friendly! Menu has items marked gluten free, and when we specifically enquirer they said it’s on shared grill but they could make the food separately - still got really sick.
Not safe!

BEWARE!!! My daughter got glutened here! I didn’t listen to the warnings because we didn’t think she was so sensitive. She ordered the hamburger w the gluten free bun & French fries. We told the waiter she was allergic to gluten. I’m guessing it was the fryer. Not worth it!

I got a salad here and didn’t feel great afterwards. I wondered if it was something in the dressing or cross contamination? Staff were helpful even telling me they had a separate fryer for their chips, but I wasn’t game to try them. Now I’m not so sure?!?
Everything’s cross contaminated no separate fryers the staff isn’t very knowledgeable. I got a simple side salad to be safe because I’m out with people who are hungry and it’s hard being the gf one. There was a crouton in my salad when I specifically said no croutons.

They have a clearly marked menu with gluten free options. Lots of gluten free breakfast choices, great location by the water.
Yes
I got a salad here and got glutened.
They have gluten-free items on the menu and the staff is knowledgeable about these items. They have the best gluten-free buns from Melinda’s bakery in Santa Cruz that I have ever tasted.
The good:
- We had amazing gluten free hamburger in a gluten free bun.
- Salads are very tasty!
- The restaurant is kids friendly.
The bad:
- Many items on the menu are marked GF, but THEY ARE NOT! Examples:
- French fries (and their variations) - they are prepared together with other non-gf things in the same frier.
- Asian salad has soy sauce :(
Bottom line:
If you don't mind asking tons of questions, about every part of the menu - you will be ok. Otherwise - skip.

Waitstaff knowledgeable, separate fryer for French fries, nice outdoor atmosphere, felt safe eating here
Yes
If you like overpaying and waiting 50 minutes for your food, this place is ok. They were kind enough to make a grilled cheese on GF bread for my daughter even though it's not on the menu. Waitress not very knowledgeable regarding gluten. Not a lot of options though it was a limited menu day so not sure how it compares. Anyway, it is nice to have the option of a GF sandwich as other stuff in that area is seafood which my kid won't eat. But the overall experience was not so great.

The location is good (on boardwalk, outdoor seating and bar) and the cocktails are refreshing. The food is expensive and not that great. There aren't that many GF items although they do have GF bread. I got the shrimp Louie salad and asked if it was automatically gluten free. The waitress said she would make a note on the order just in case. Karaoke Saturdays and Sundays 2-5pm.
