Great hibachi and sushi place. Staff is knowledgeable about gluten. If you get the gluten-free hibachi, it’s made separately in the back. So gluten-containing food is made at the table, and is the entertainment. The gluten-free food just appears from the kitchen at the same time everyone else is being served. It’s a good system. My kids liked the food.

We were just here with our family of 6. My daughter was able to order fried rice and a California roll. Her food was prepared in the back to avoid cross contamination and they knew immediately to bring the GF soy sauce. We didn’t even have to ask!! Just thrilled.

Staff is super knowledgeable and accommodating! I also have a dairy allergy so they cook my meal using oil instead of butter. All allergy meals are cooked in the back kitchen (not on the hibachi tables) to eliminate cross contamination. Love!

I have Celiacs and went to Izumi's. our group sat at the hibachi table. When I told them I had Celiacs, they asked if I had any other allergies, then prepared my food in the back in a designated area, gave me oil and vinegar for my salad and a soup that didn't have soy sauce in it.They were very attentive to my needs and the food was delicious! unfortunately the next time I went back, the chef who was cooking the food in front of us, threw some lo mein on my plate! he was very apologetic and it only hit a part of my already filled plate!

The owner has a food allergy and is very aware of gluten free food. For hibachi they will cook the gluten free food back in the kitchen to ensure no cross contamination. Highly recommended and has hibachi take out!
