This is no longer Jac’s. It was bought out in early 2019 and is now The Berg. We adored Jac’s and were SO disappointed at how bad the quality is now. My kids wouldn’t eat their dinners, and after having one taste I couldn’t blame them. They also got rid of the custard. So sad, it used to be so great.

This is a magical place where children clean their plates and moms can enjoy Pinot Noir custard. All is missing is magic fairy dust when you walk through the door. Of course, the owner is so lovely that she just might give you fairy dust if you ask for it. Definitely stop if you are in area! Definitely make a point of going, even if you aren't in the area.

Outstanding food with many GF choices, including sandwich bread. If you are CD, tell them. They will get you the truly GF bun and clean all surfaces for preparation. Custards are great, too! 😏

We came here after hearing raves about the custard, but had no idea they had so many GF options! I talked to the owner's daughter and her mom is ver intolerant, and she has many food sensitivities. They really take extra precautions to avoid cc. I can't wait to bring my gf 8 year old son who will DIE that he can order Mac and cheese from a restaurant! I'm used to not being able to have options, but sometimes it's hard to have to tell your kiddo it isn't safe.

Had the BBQ chicken salad and it was delicious. Appreciate that there are so many gluten free options and that they are clearly marked on the menu board. You can tell they care about their gluten sensitive customers. I've also had the waffle fries before... YUM!

I've been diagnosed as a Celiac for eight years and I eat here regularly. Fantastic burgers, Gf buns and dedicated truffle fries. They will tell you if you shouldn't eat something. I love this place!

Based on the reviews we were hopeful but it didn't work out for us. There was major cross contamination issues and we both got sick. The bread was really dry and seemed very old. Probably fine if you are just eating GF as a lifestyle choice but doubt we will risk it again.

One of the best gf friendly places to eat in Newberg! Complete comfort food, energetic staff, and a good understanding if gluten allergies! There custard is most amazing too! They even do no sugar added and lactose free custard!

Wonderful comfort food, wonderful staff! Where else can you get "to die for" GF Mac n cheese, ice cream cones, or bread pudding?!! The GF hoagie rolls are really good, as are the cookies. Jac's will become a regular hang out for you, as it has for my family!

This is a great locally owned deli in Newberg with gf bread from local bakeries. The owners are amazing people and GF themselves. They have the best Mac and Cheese for very reasonable prices. They are always looking for new ways to give quality GF food to their customers. Also they have GF ice cream sugar and waffle cones!
