This is the best home cooked gluten free food I have had in a restaurant!! the fish was amazing and the bread tasted delicious. The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating! Kare is so amazing that I came to eat on a Friday night, was leaving town on Saturday and she offered to make me bread to pick up before I left!! What service! I will be back to this place anytime I am within an hour of it!!! You must try it....
Great find! An old school , no frills place that's all about the food. Stuffed green pepper soup, turkey club on home made GF bread with delicious bacon. Home made jams. Great specials. Can't wait to come back.
GLUTEN FREE FISH FRY ON FRIDAYS! This is a very quaint family run restaurant in Richland. They do not have a gluten free menu because they are very flexible and can adapt most things on the menu to be gluten free. They seem knowledgeable with a dedicated fryer and she makes her own homemade gluten free breads (order ahead for bread, 12 different varieties! Pumpkin spice, cranberry, pear, cinnamon raisin, sandwich, apple spice, peach, apple cinnamon chip, oatmeal raisin, cheddar cheese, veggie, dried fruits, blueberry, banana nut, honey oatmeal....whoops....that's 15 varieties...) Friday night they have a fish fry - all you can eat and they didn't seem to charge us extra for gluten free (I could be wrong...but didn't see an extra charge on the bill) :) My kids wanted to give it a five star rating too :) You can order breakfast all day long :) wonderful pancakes!! :)
Best GF Blueberry Pancakes!!! They're huge, with big, juicy, fresh blueberries. They're very understanding and helpful with GF needs. They do bread for sandwiches as well. Gerri is an angel... I truly felt as if I was home, down South with my Grammy cooking :) I highly recommend!
What a find! I was just searching on another website for some good gluten free food on the other side of the state when I stumbled on a favorable review of this place. We ate there this afternoon and ordered the gluten free turkey club sandwich. Not only was the bread gluten free, but the cook put fresh turkey breast on the sandwich, not lunchmeat as we had expected. The fries were handcut and fried to perfection. I would have given this place a full five stars if they'd had a printed menu with all gluten free items (you have to ask the server what they have available), but with food as good as this, it really was just a small thing. We'll be trying their breakfast tomorrow, as they offer gluten free pancakes, waffles, omelettes, etc. I highly recommend this place!
