Katella Deli-Restaurant

NOT SAFE for celiacs. Came here for breakfast on vacation. The menu offers GF adjustments/alternatives. We explained to the server that our kiddo has celiac and needs to eat gluten-free. She ordered eggs and bacon. She got sick anyway. I'm guessing cross-contamination? So frustrating!

The restaurant has a decent gluten-free menu, but the service in general wasn't great. They aren't very accommodating to substitutions or even making a scramble instead of an omelette (typically a pretty standard option). The food was pretty good and I didn't have any reaction afterwards. The bakery/deli looked amazing, but I didn't see any gluten-free baked goods.
