Food was mediocre. The server asked for allergies and noted my gluten intolerance. I asked for tamari which they didnt have which was fine. However, i ordered a set meal with what i didnt realise was an imitation crab roll. Imitation crab has wheat typically, and i felt the effects as i left. Please make sure to double check all ingredients with them as they dont seem knowledgable about allergens.

I am celiac and asked several times in several locations if the rice is gluten-free. Been falsely told it is gluten-free BUT IT IS NOT. The one in Marina del Rey had by far the worst service, it took many tries to get an educated answer until finally someone asked the chef and confirmed the rice is made with gluten-vinegar. If you stay away from the rice and any sauces you might be lucky but I do not recommend it for any celiacs.

This place was great but I did end up getting glutened. The One Cup sake I ordered is supposed to be gluten free but could have been the problem. Otherwise I played it as safe as possible. Unclear what caused it so just be incredibly careful.
All hand rolls are GF and made fresh in front of you (or you can order To Go). The soy sauce is on the side, so just don't use it. I used extra ginger and didn't even need any sauce, but I did see one smart guy who brought his own coconut aminos bottle. Affordable and fresh, simple sushi.
Yes
Most of the meats are gf, but the nagiri comes in a house sauce which isnt gf. make sure to ask each time. prices are good for the quality.
Yes
Ordered everything without sauce.. And delicious! Option next time: bring a gf soy sauce packet
This place has excellent sushi and I was told that most items on the Menu are gluten free, EXCEPT for the sauces.
