Dedicated GF restaurant near downtown Toronto! Nice to have a totally safe option while enjoying the city. Laid back pub/bistro style, very friendly, good atmosphere. Normal restaurant foods like steak, burgers, wings, etc., which is very nice as well. Recommended for sure!

Located on the corner of Kensington Avenue and Dundas Street is Kensington Cornerstone. Every menu item at this quaint bistro is glutenfree and most every dish is made from scratch.

Good food and definitely safe, but people who aren't gluten free may not enjoy it.

Really wanted to love this place, but it's kind of like Udi's bread. Good for GF, not really good by any other standard. Folks were nice, and the beer list was great. It was mostly empty on a holiday evening, only one other couple. Its so hard to get GF grilled cheese and it was good. They were out of chicken, which eliminated a big chunk of the menu. The fish and chips was disappointing, the fish was very overcooked and the cornmeal breading wasn't very good. The pork belly arepas were also not great. The pork was mostly unrendered fat and the arepas were very greasy with a weird 1950s presentation. The general vibe seemed a little sad. Brought a non- celiac here and they said it was the worst GF food they'd ever had. I don't agree, but it's definitely not living up to its potential.

Great atmosphere and great selection. My only complaint is that it was a tad pricey but it was excellent service and good food!

I love this place. Great food that even non-gf people can enjoy. The atmosphere is funky and comfortable and the service has always been excellent. The pulled pork sandwich is a definite win and it's so nice to be able to have a beer with my meal.

Been there twice now. Both time THOROUGHLY enjoyed my meal and the atmosphere. I love to be able to sit and gab without feeling rushed out. Last time my friend and I each ordered a pot of tea which we enjoyed for about an hour before ordering supper. I love feeling welcomed.

My first time there I had the eggs benedict. DelIghtful! The hollandaise sauce is gluten free. It does not try to fool you that it is going to taste the same. It has a lovely red hint to the sauce and a notably orange flavour. Its texture and richness did not disappoint. Eggs were perfect and the homefries a well herbed mixture of sweet and white potatoes. So yummy.

Last time I had the stuffed pepper which was delicious as well. The kitchen is willing to adjust some recipes (where possible) to meet other dietary restrictions. They met the requests of my dinner companion.

I will go back.

This is a great place to have a casual dinner, with all gluten free dishes. If you want something simple like a sandwich and pie, or if you're more in the mood for steak they have got you covered. It's a great place to eat food that isn't normally possible for all of us who eat gluten free.
