Cafe is NOT celiac safe. The man behind the counter says there is a high probability of cross contamination. He suggested a pastry, sushi or a pre-made raw sandwich. I came for a sandwich for my 6 year old celiac son, a danish is not a suitable substitute. It was pretty defeating to discover a place like this that’s so hip to healthy organic allergy-free foods could not keep a gluten free cutting board, utensils and gloves at the ready to prepare something celiac safe. We are new to celiac and this was our first overnight trip to visit friends in the area. I left the store and cried, as it was a stark reminder of the challenges this diagnosis places on us.

They have a cafe in the back with many gluten free sandwiches, wraps, PIZZA, hot bar full of things like Indian food, and a large variety of baked goods!

Lots of gluten free lunch options in the cafe. Of course, endless options in the grocery store. Great coffee bar with alternative milk. Love this place.

Kimberton was the first and only place I could shop when I was diagnosed 20 years ago. Still a good selection but gf items are interspersed throughout the store rather than its own section. I kind of prefer a designated area. Pricey sometimes, but when they have their sales, items are often cheaper than any other grocery store.

A celiacs dream come true! They have everything you could ever want and so many different brands and styles of gluten-free foods. I was in heaven. The prices were very reasonable which was a bonus! And the staff is so kind, the store is beautiful

Kimberton Whole Foods has been my go-to grocery store since I found out I had to go gluten free. They have so many options for gluten free items like pasta, bread, pastry mixes, fresh bakery items, and frozen bakery items. The are also more affordable. The same items are priced higher at my local regular grocery store. They also have a great selection of other healthy foods and fresh produce! I’m so grateful to live near a Whole Foods.

I love the GF selection at Kimberton! They offer pre-made GF sandwiches, a plethora of packaged GF items, such as Jovial pasta and Natures Bakery fig bars. You can even request that they carry products. Bonus: They often have sales on GF items that make them cheaper than big box stores.
