My family and I were amazed at this place while on a college visit! Only one item on the menu wasn't gluten-free so everything was an option. My wife had the mole that was the best we've ever had(including rice-flour pancakes) and I had the bass which was sitting on top of the most delectable rice mix. Don't miss the sweet plantains either! By far our favorite restaurant of the trip - recommendation - get reservations! (FYI - wife and daughter both celiacs - no problems and the whole staff is very aware of the issues - rare in Philly!)
Awesome Mexican restuarant. Great atmosphere, knowledgeable and authentic staff, but the best part, is the food! All the food on the brunch menu can be made gluten free. Yes that is right, ALL the food! Be prepared to be overwhelmed by the sheer number of choices if you are a Celiac! There were two desserts (chocolate cakes) that were not gluten free, but after the main meal you will not have room for dessert! The corn tortillas were excellent, maybe even hand made??? The plating of the food was incredible as well. I would highly recommend going here and I will be back on my next trip into philly. There are multiple locations in Philly so you have no excuse not to go! Expect to pay around $20 a head for an entree, drink and side.
