I don’t feel I have any other way to write this. I came to this restaurant based on the reviews on here. Maybe I was slightly disarmed because of it. I ordered a ceaser salad without croutons and it was great. My main dish was chicken fajitas. I was so excited to try the tortillas that reviews raved about. I made my first fajita and after a few bites my stomach felt off. It wasn’t until my sister got back to the table and started making her fajitas with flour tortillas that I realized they served me flour ones! It’s been over a decade since I’ve had flour so I really had no idea until I saw hers. Once I alerted the waiter another man came out and blamed me for eating them and then insisted that they brought out corn ones for me after the waiter got rid of my plate and tortillas. I was so confused by this and it was completely the wrong move on management.

They comped my meal and gave my party 15% off. I mentioned to the owner how I didn’t appreciate one of her employees blaming me for their mistake. I don’t feel it mattered much to her to be honest which made the night even worse. I HATE writing a bad review for a place that has been highlighted so well. If you decide to eat here, double and triple check everything before taking taking a bite.

Had a great dinner here. Dedicated GF menu, slight issue with not understanding cross contamination when it came to the table side Ceasar but the kitchen handled dinner well.

This place is amazing - best shrimp tacos I have ever had. They make the tortillas by hand and the corn tortillas contain no wheat. The waiter checked with the chef and told me that nothing with flour is fried in the oil the chips are cooked in. Highly recommend.

All my interactions with this restaurant were exceptional! I sent an email this afternoon requesting a reservation and asking about accommodations for food allergies. I received a response within 10 min confirming my reservation and assuring me that I would be taken care of!

Upon my arrival it was a beautiful outdoor setting with lights. While I was looking at the menu the lovely lady (Alma) that had responded to my email came to ask if she could answer any questions. I mentioned my food specific issues and she helped me plan my entire meal relaying every question to the kitchen. She then made a point to find out who my server was so she could ensure everything went right.

At the end of the meal the owner Sissy stopped by to check and make sure everything was good and when I told her how impressed I was with Alma because of my gluten problems she said oh that was you! so she had been made aware that I was dining in the restaurant as well and it turns out she has gluten issues as well.

so if you're worried about being able to eat out in cabo like I was you don't have to worry anymore because they will take care of you at la golondrina!!

great food, great service, great atmosphere!

This place is amazing! We were bummed we heard about it the day before leaving! Sissi one of the owners and her staff were very attentive on making our dinner fabulous and GF. I just asked my husband where he wanted to go for his Bday and he says let's go back to Cabo to have the Steak and Lobster platter at La Golondrina. You have to go!
